  • Works great
Plugged Wii straight into the hdmi cord. Sound and picture work great

  • Works perfect
Easiest solution to the issue of a new TV not having A/V jacks anymore. Simply plug this into the back of the console and then use a normal HDMI cord and it worked right away. No real set up necessary. I can't say that the video quality is any better but at the very least it looks the same, maybe slightly better. ... show more

  • Works like a charm
Just what we needed to connect the Wii to the big TV.

  • Just what we needed.
We bought a new TV and when we tried to hook up our wii, there were no input cable connectors for the wii. So we ordered this adapter and easy as pie, plugged it in and the wii was up and running. Very simple fix. Don't spend a lot of money on one of these because this is all you need!

  • Works fine, but added a a light hum to the Wii menu screen and Game menu screens.
Like title states, this adapter works fine, but adds a a light hum to the Wii menu screen and some game menu screens. The hum was not present (or at least not noticeable) during gameplay. Have used it for over a year, with no additional issues.

  • Works like a charm
Didn't know such things exist until I got a new TV doesn't have the old composite input and Googled for solution... The adapter just works. Connect the adapter to WII, and connect the other end with HDMI cable to TV. Feels slightly better resolution compared to composite.

  • Solves a very specific problem
My wife plays Just Dance on the original Wii - not the overpriced Wii-U nor the garbage Wii mini. Our TV died recently, and of course, the new TV doesn't have a component input, which is the only way to enjoy the original Wii in higher resolution than 480i composite. Rather than a traditional video output port, the Wii uses a proprietary cable - either component or composite on the TV end, and the other connects to the "display" port on the Wii. THIS ADAPTER plugs in to the Wii and provides an HDMI out, which means I can ditch my component cable and at the same time, avoid the need for an external component to HDMI converter box. It works great, the video and sound work great, and now I have a single HDMI cable rather than two cables and a converter. Great product! ... show more

  • So far, so good
Bought a new TV with no component video outputs. My kid wanted to play Mario Kart, and a simple search turned up this product. It's inexpensive, easy to use, and works perfectly - what more do you want? Hopefully, it will last - but overall, I'm very happy with the purchase.
