Installed the sink into my campervan setup in 2016. Its held up well with all the rattling dirty dishes and heat/humidity. I see now in 2023 its a bit cheaper. The drying grate can get kinda gross and is hard to clean. No problem with a dishwasher but harder to do by hand and really get all the crevices. Suggest adding some small holes to the bottom of the plastic feet so they drain. ... show more

We thought having the drain in the side would be the best, but having it in the middle makes it so easy to wash food from either side down. Since the grid keeps pots and pans off the bottom scratching has not been a problem. The rounded corners are easy to clean. There’s really nothing I would change about this sink. Bought this sink for our kitchen renovation and for the most part we love it. We wanted a single sink, deep enough to wash large items, and this sink has really met that need. We like the rounded corners, easier to keep clean than the sharp angles in many sinks. The drain plug works great, and we've used this sink for cleaning everything from daily dishes to grills from our barbecue and a water fountain - you could easily wash a dog or a baby in this sink! And the depth means that you can pile the dishes in there and they are out of sight; we even had a dish drainer in the sink for awhile as an experiment; it fits! The sound proofing was important to us as well as the steel thickness, and we've been very happy with both. A few cons after using this sink for 3 months: it's under-mounted, so it's almost TOO deep. Although the spec is 9" deep, the center of the sink is 10" below the counter, so I have to lean over a bit more than I expected at times to reach things in the bottom. And don't forget that a deep sink means less space height-wise in the cupboard underneath. We thought the included rack for the sink bottom was a great idea, but found in every day use that we didn't like it much. Although it keeps pans etc from scratching the steel and elevates everything a half-inch or so, it makes the sink harder to clean and the plastic footings for it hold water, meaning eventually the footings will rust out. So we don't use it anymore; you'd have to decide for yourself whether it works for you. We found the slope in the sink too slight for efficient water draining -- we end up using our spray faucet a lot to persuade food bits to get into the strainer. We also swapped out our own strainer for the one that comes with it, which seemed to hold too much water; with a single drain instead of two, the ability of air to get out of the drain pipe is important for good drainage, and the deep strainer that comes with it wasn't quite as good as we wanted it to be -- but that was an easy fix. Overall we love the the look in our new kitchen, and appreciate the size and quality of this sink. Just a few little things to think about that are not apparent when you buy. ... show more

The sink was delivered promptly and, except for one small blemish (factory second?) it is beautifully made and finished. The accessories were surprisingly of good quality as well. The one serious issue I ended up having with the product was that the countertop cutout template that was provided with the sink was for another - and very differently sized - model. This error, unfortunately, wasn't discovered until the morning that countertop installation was scheduled. After desperate calls to Amazon and the listed vendor, I quickly realized that I had to either cancel the install or somehow create my own template =\ ( note: I'm not a graphic artist, nor any other kind of crafty type person). So, I did eventually manage to produce a template that I was willing to go with and passed it on to the foreman on the job. Upon his realizing that this was of my doing (quite obvious), his immediate response was "This isn't right." "It's too small." ... Damn! So he then took the actual sink and made what HE considered the correct cutout in the beautiful granite. The final result was an installation that was nearly flush in some spots with other areas of overhang up to 3/16" Considering my desire to have the sink flush mounted ( as would have been made easy, given the proper template), I would say that I am less than thrilled with the appearance of the final result. Bummer. >>>>> UPDATE <<<<< Very soon after posting my initial feedback, I was contacted by Mark of Ruvati USA. I was pleased to hear of his desire and intent to correct the packing flaw that led to my situation of the mis-matched cutout template. Mark was convincingly concerned and dedicated to repairing the problem that I had encountered. And In the end, I come away quite satisfied with both the beautiful, high quality Ruvati sink as well as the way in which Ruvati USA stands behind their products. ... show more
