Great area rug. Has a low pile so we bought a thick rug pad to go under it, otherwise it would feel too thin on it's own for my liking. Like the silhouettes of the trees behind the pine cones around the border. Great pattern with olive, brown, black, tan, beige, also a dark red and black border.

To be completely candid, I could have gone to Ollies Discount store and got a thicker, better quality rug this size for $30. Seeing them at Ollies yesterday is what prompted me to write this review. Wish I had! I gave it two stars instead of one because this edged pine cone pattern rug is very good at hiding the cat puke my cat loves to vomit on it, until I find it.😁 My main complaint is that it looks, feels cheap, despite the picture on Amazon, and it has several ripples in it. Meaning it has never lay flat since I got it. Seeing rugs at Ollies yesterday is what prompted this review. Granted, they did not have any with pine cone edging. I chose mine on here because it had the colors I was looking for, and thought it would be cozy this winter. Maybe mine has ripples because it is laying on my carpet. I even secured three of the edges, though. Your experience with this rug may be different than mine, BUT, it is definitely not worth more than $30, in quality. ... show more

This really is a beautiful rug of high quality. It did come with wrinkles that didn't come out. I tried streaming with an iron--nope. I tried laying books on the wrinkles--nope. Then I simply moved it outside to lay in the sun. Like magic the wrinkles disappeared within about two hours. The wrinkles were not an issue in quality; I only mention it here so if you buy a rug and it comes wrinkled, you'll know what to do. I love the rug. I was worried about color too, but the pictures on Amazon are a great representation of the true colors. ... show more

Despite some of the negative reviews I took a chance to order this rug I did receive one that was folded when rolled instead of actually rolling it which resulted in waves however mine does seem to be settling down I will take another reviewer‘s advice in the spring if it does not completely lay flat and put it in the sun as it is December in New England and I cannot do it now aside from that it is a very pretty rug seems decent quality just wish they rolled it better so it didn’t have so many ripples oh waiting on a runner to match hoping I do not have the same issues with that one Had to do an update as I am disgusted with this rug not only are the waves not coming out the other rug that came in without them my dog threw up on I gently cleaned it with a damp rag now I have ripples on that one where my dog got sick that should not happen my old carpet I had for over nine years totally disgusted for what I paid for these ... show more

I looked for a long time on several different sites for a rug for our new cabin but I kept coming back to this one. Boy, am I glad I did!! It adds just the right amount of rustic without going overboard and I especially love that the design wraps around rather than being in the middle where it would be hidden by my coffee table.
