This little rack seems well built, sturdy and great quality. I used the "painters tape hack" to mount this. I used a piece of painters tape, cut precisely to size. Taped it along the back and make sure it's level. I then marked out where the "key holes" were for the mount and marked them off with a marker. Then removed the tape from the back of the shelf, and taped it to the wall where I wanted it mounted (be sure it's level on the wall) Then drill through the tape where the keyholes are marked. Install the wall plugs or screws and then mount it up. Perfectly even and level shelf, exactly where you wanted it! The one thing I wish they did do was also have the "name plates" on the solid backside too. That way you could have the baskets as they are shown, or flip them around so you can't see what's in the basket. Easy enough to attach a double sided sticky handle if that's what you wanted. ... show more

It took me a bit to install -- finding the stud and spacing it so that both screws (one on each side) fit nicely to where the studs were. And drawers are much smaller than the space for them so it's very loose. I wish they were tighter fit, or had rails so that it's a bit more snug fit. I think there are many options out there but if you like old-wood look, this is a good option! ... show more

After unpacking my shelf. Cons: It felt cheap in my hands, very light. Where wood putty was used to fill nail holes, it was smeared on the rest of the wood. Not made with care. After seeing it I wish I hadn't paid as much, but I am getting out of touch on pricing. There wasn't a template for mounting it on the wall. That would have been extremely helpful. Pros: This is real wood, so that's hard to find. It came with a level to help mount it. It fit my space perfectly and does what I need. It has hooks below the shelf that I needed, but quickly discovered it has a design flaw. They slide back and forth on a rod. That's great for spacing them out like you want, but the also move back and forth every time you hang something on them, a coat or towel. Have you every tried to hand a coat on a hook that dodges you! LOL ... show more

I bought this to replace a large and outdated hall tree that I used previously for hats , jackets etc. It’s very low profile and utilitarian. The baskets are handy for storing dog leashes , spare keys paper and pen etc. it’s well made and was easy to install
