What I like: big protective case, easy to set up, decent battery life . What I dislike : clunky kids interface, not as kid friendly as some of our other tablets. Bigger kiddos will get bored fast with it . Overall : it’s an ok tablet at its price point . Will keep a toddler entertained

I picked this up for my grand daughter's upcoming 2nd birthday, since every 2 yr old needs a 10" Android tablet, right? I haven't worked with it extensively yet (it's not her birthday yet!), but I do have some initial impressions right out of the gate: - This is great! It is a real Android tablet with a *very* thick case around it. Having gone through several 2 year olds of my own, I know how destructive they can be. Good luck with this puppy! - It has a solid ring on the back of the case that can be used as a kick-stand or a carrying handle. Cute! - It needs to be configured by an adult, preferably one with their own Google account. - It has a child-friendly menu shell, so even I can navigate it! - It has access to its own Kid Store, with kid-appropriate content - It's somewhat slow and jerky, since it only has 2GB of RAM. Android really likes 3GB minimum, and 4GB is even better. However, I really doubt my grand daughter is going to notice. - The sound is somewhat tinny, but loud. She will definitely notice the volume! - It comes with a 6000mA battery. While I haven't tested it to out-of-power, that size battery should be good to go for most of the day. Ah, bliss for the parents! For the price, this is a great value for a child's first tablet. Once her birthday comes and my grand daughter puts it through its paces, I'll update this review if anything new or surprising occurs. For now, recommended! ... show more
