To be washable these have to be thin. I get it. But these rugs are like t-shirts over a thin pad. We got the standard pad so I can't say if the thicker one would help but not terribly thrilled with this version.

Just received this rug. It’s beautiful! Love the colors. Exactly as shown. I got one for entryway as well. It seems like it will be easy to wash. I bought because I have 3 cats, 2 seniors and 1 8 yr old and I’m sure they will soil it very soon:)

Love this rug! I have spent hundreds on rugs before and they have been ruined by kids and dog! I love that I can just peel the top off and wash it! Money well spent!

So far I love it. My dogs have ruff housed on it and it didn't slip or slide. I haven't washed it yet so can't comment on that. It is awkward to get it down smooth if your only one person a second person would help but it is doable. I'm also still figuring out what setting I should use on my vaccuum for the best cleaning without separating the rug from the backing. This is a great rug! It doesn’t feel cheap and it lays flat so no one will trip. It was easy to set up and I like the liner it came with. Easy to vacuum and happy we can wash it since it’s our dogs favorite hang out spot. Beautiful design as well. Very happy with the purchase.
