This bad boy is an absolutely perfect enclosure for our Russian tortoise! We had him in a glass aquarium when we first adopted him. I was worried he wasn’t eating anything. Not a great time. First the plan was to use this as a little pool for my huskies, but it then became their drinking trough. Huskies are hilarious. The pond/trough is tough and holds up to the abuse of huskies. It's not cheap plastic. Unfortunately, there is no drain plug, but the pond/trough is good enough to drill one in and add a plug to it. ... show more

I bought 2 of these for feeding all-stock to my goats, sheep and miniature pony. These are much more durable & sturdy than my cut-in-half 55 gallon drums! My goats & sheep like to lay in these between feedings, and they are holding up VERY well! There's no plug in these, like the bigger stock tanks have, but I don't think you really need it in these little tanks. They are very easy to just pull upright and tip over. If they are anything like the 75 & 100 gallon stock tanks, I'll be using these for years! ... show more

Bought this stock tank to use as a dog bath. It is just big enough for our 2 medium sized dogs to get in at the same time. It is holding up much better than the inflatable and folding swimming pools we used in the past.

Works like a charm for a non intended use. Sides high enough to reduce splash on shower curtains. Almost high enough to use as a bathtub. Haven't tried that yet but am sure it will work. Mine did not have a hole drilled so I was able to flip it over and find the perfect drain spot not encumbered by the structural ribs. Drill from bottom to miss these. There are flanges on the drain parts that can need to be able to seal.!!!! ... show more

This is a great, long-lasting and inexpensive stock tank, which I use as a makeshift pond. It is much less expensive than most of the other preformed pond liners and very stable for above-ground use. My only concern is that when I received the tank, it was shipped with no protection but arrived undamaged, which I guess speaks ever more to its durability. In all the time I have had it, it has not cracked or shown any other signs of wear or damage from the sun, rain, wind, heat or cold (granted we do not get freezing temperatures where I live). My fish, snails and plants have not shown any adverse reactions to the plastic used to make this tank. Now if only the raccoons would stay away. I made a wire screen around the whole "pond" since the last raid out of PVC pipes, hardware cloth and chicken wire. The screen is an eyesore but at least the raccoons have not been able to get any more fish. The photo is what it used to look like before the screen was installed. ... show more
