Description

Use this cooler for camping, hiking, backpacking, golf, beach days, picnics, or as a daily lunch bag. The RTIC Day Cooler has plenty of room to store what you need to keep cool for up to 24 hours. The outside is made of heavy-duty polyester & the inside utilizes a high density insulation. You can use ice or ice substitutes to keep items cold. Includes an adjustable shoulder strap for carrying comfort. This cooler bag has two places to store water bottles, extra snacks and small gear—a zippered pocket in the front and two mesh pockets on the sides. The soft liner is made of food contact material that's safe for use with food and drinks. Product-protecting properties are built into the flexible lining to resist odor, mold and mildew, making it easy to clean between uses. Heat-welded seams prevent flexible liner leaks.

When I ordered this product on July 26, 2018, I loved the lunchbox... until it arrived and the shoulder strap ripped loose after one week of owning the product. Now there is a big hole on the side of the box where the shoulder strap clips to the lunchbox, and I cannon carry the lunchbox on my shoulder because the shoulder strap doesn't connect any longer. That is advertised. Ice melted in less than eight hours. It did keep the drinks cold through the night. An ordinary cooler nothing special .

    • Expected more for the cost/brand name
I purchased this cooler because there were quite a few good reviews, however it seems that the bad reviews should be higher. It seemed to be well constructed when it came but after almost 6 months of use it is falling apart. It seems to keep things fairly cold for a few hours and haven't had an issue with leaking. But the zipper works about half the time and the top handle has about ripped completely off. Had to start using the shoulder strap which I'm fairly certain is going to rip off soon as well. I was wanting a cooler/lunch box that would last and had heard great things about this brand so I spent the money but obviously "you get what you pay for" didn't work out so well with this purchase. ... show more

One of the top lid zippers popped-off of one track after two days, and it is now unusable. Just glad there is another zipper that allows for closure, but I wonder not if, but when, it will fail and the whole thing becomes useless. Be wary!

Not as good quality as expected. Used only 70 days but purchased over 90 days ago. Out of 90 day warranty so RTIC unwilling to exchange or refund. Buyer beware

This is the worst purchase I’ve ever made from Rtic. I have. Used it one time and it leaked all over my truck. Don’t do not buy this one. My big bag cooler is no better the zipper busted. I love Rtic but not the soft coolers.

I love RTIC products and this one sure will not let you down. I have bought two of these in the 6 can and 8 can sizes and they are great. They are sturdy and they get the job done at maintaining the food cold. I use ice packs with it and the food would be cold all day. You will not be dissapointed. The only thing you should be aware is that if you would like to have in a light color (which are very nice!) it will get dirty over time. The bottom of the lunch box will be the same light color you choose and if you are not sitting your lunch bag in a clean place all the time the bottom will get looking dirty very quickly. So my advice is better to buy it in a dark color (navy or black) if you never want to see dirty on the outside. If you are hung up on the pretty light colors like I am then just be aware that you will have to wash the bag once in a while. ... show more

I used this to take water and gatorade to work with me. I have a small ice machine and would put ice over them and put it in my work van. The inside liner is too thin and began leaking. I suspect the ice punctured the inside liner. If you insist on having one of these you must use reusable blocks which is a hassle for me. I need something tougher for what I paid. This was the 2nd one that failed. I wont buy another soft cooler. Also ice was melted by mid afternoon so it didnt insulate as well as a hard cooler of a third of the price. I recommend trying something else if you intend to use ice. ... show more
