The lightweight frame is molded from tough 6061 heat-treated aircraft-grade aluminum, and it will never rust! Backed by our limited 10-year frame warranty (see owner’s manual for details). Durable aluminum, lighter than steel, makes the bike easier to handle and easier to maneuver in tight spots. The front suspension fork delivers solid performance – it easily absorbs dips and bumps from uneven terrain. The slight-rise handlebar enables an upright, riding style. There’s less strain on the shoulders, back, and arms for a more comfortable ride! Kraton grips feel good to hold and comfortable pedals maintain a responsive feel no matter how long you ride. The premium, richly padded saddle, with dual springs, is ergonomically designed for real comfort and rests on a suspension-style seat post that absorbs jostles and thumps for smoother riding. An alloy quick release binder lets you customize the saddle height for a proper fit. Unlike cheaper models, the normally uses a complete SHIMANO drivetrain, a 21-speed Shimano revisit with a Shimano Tourney indexed rear derailleur, specifically crafted for optimal performance. Enjoy seamless shifting with precise transitions between gears as you adapt to your riding environment. Removable rear derailleur guard protects gears from accidental damage to ensure reliable operation time after time. Alloy linear pull brakes deliver smooth, dependable stopping power. Machined alloy wheel rims enable superior brake pad contact for consistent action. • Made her day, then ours
Color: Pearl Blue Size: 15" frame
I had been looking for a bike for my partner. Yep, budget minded and not looking at the bigger picture. Saw this and knew I was making a positive choice. Easy assembly, very versatile- it fits her and is easy to ride. A solid bike, not overly complex. I'm not concerned about tech details, just the bottom line- Use and enjoyment. We ride regularly on weekends. Use is rewarding. Getting out and doing things together is the enjoyment. The price is very attractive, well worth the investment. ... show more

  • Beautiful Bicycle
Let me start off by telling you I am a 40 year old man who only really bikes now and then. Maybe for exercise, maybe just to be outside, I am not a bicycle hobbyist, enthusiast, and expert. I'm sub amateur. Haha just a regular joe when it comes to bikes. Now that you know where I am coming from.... The reviews that say they had stuff broken, missing etc. That sucks. It really does. I am so glad I didn't based my decision to buy on that, because I was planning on exchanging until they got it right. Anyway I did have all my pieces and nothing damaged. So it IS possible to have a great first experience. Now to the bike itself... I hate the seat. It sucks. It was difficult for me to figure out how to attach the seat to the stem. I did figure it out. But the directions didn't show my specific style. Which was odd, anyway, I had to look at my old bike for help so thankfully I had a guide. It didn't come with a kickstand, again thankfully I have an old bike, I just took it off and added it to the new. This bike in the metallic red is BEAUTIFUL!!! It rides well, I enjoyed it very much. Overall, it was not too difficult for me to put together. I did it while with my 1 year old so we had to take a break. But it didn't take me for than a few hours in total. It has been a solid experience. I'm glad I decided to buy, GREAT price for the product. I'm happy 😁 Oh and yes the 4 stars is cause I hate the seat. ... show more

  • Good bike for excelant price.
I like the bike, the price was great for an aluminum 19" bike, I liked almost everything about it, it was easy to assemble, and rides well, I didn't like the fact that its missing a kickstand.

  • Bike inoperable
Color: Pearl Blue Size: 17" frame
Bike wouldn't work. Chain keeps falling off. So I either have to take the time to return and purchase a new one or take to a repair shop and pay out of pocket. Ugh!! Follow up - Cost me $75 to get "tuned". I think I should get a credit or something but it is what it is. But seller never answered my calls or inquiries. Nice bike and works well NOW. ... show more

  • Some must replace parts and useless instructions
Color: Metallic Red Size: 17" frame
The instructions are worthless. They appear to be for another bike. It's not super complex, but you will have to figure out how to assemble this on your own. The tools it comes with are crap. I broke the wrench on a bolt. The tires it comes with are worthless. I went through three tubes in under a month before the tire developed a 3 centimeter or so gash from hitting a small and blunt rock at low speed. These will need to be replaced and I have replaced them on mine. I haven't had problems with flats since. The front derailleur is by far hardest to adjust that I have ever messed with. The chain quickly broke. I have since replaced it with a better quality one. The rims were very untrue. You will need a rim spoke wrench and flathead screwdriver to fix it. Those aren't included. You will also need a bike pump, which isn't included. You will need tire levers to easily replace the tire/tube. The bike is rather heavy for somehting that is meant to be aluminum. Overall, I would save a bit of money and get something better. If you need a bike, this works as a bike. You had just better learn bike assembly and repair. ... show more

  • AWESOME BIKE
Color: Metallic Red Size: 17" frame
This is probably the best bike in the world at this price range. It is a beautiful bike. I could not find one flaw anywhere. If you think you're mechanically inclined (I work on my own vehicles), trust me—if you haven't set up a modern bike before, save yourself the time and take it to a pro to set it up for you, because the instructions aren't the best, which is the only con I can mention. This was a birthday present for my 14 year old son, and after consideration, I took the bike to the local bike pro. He was blown away by the quality of it, too, and wow...what a smooth and comfortable ride it is. The Royce Union 700c is proof that some companies still make quality products at a reasonable price. The negative reviews about this bike are either from a few who were either unlucky , or they're reviews from a competitor. If you're considering this bike, you will NOT regret purchasing it. ... show more

  • Very good bike
Color: Pearl Blue Size: 17" frame
This is a very good bike, especially at this price. Quality appears to be good. As with any mail order bike it needs some "Tweaking" of the brake and derailleur adjustments, but the manual shows what these should be. Once tuned the shifting is smooth and quiet. It is missing a few features, such as quick release wheels, but this is only and issue if you have to remove the wheels several times a day. Otherwise you can remove a wheel in about one minute with a 15 mm wrench. This bike has a very low step-over for a full size bike, which was my primary reason for the purchase, as I am an older male, but the frame feels solid and stable. It helps in the setup if you have some mechanical ability, or have a friend who does. ... show more

  • It's a solid bike for the price, but you're gonna pay more than the listed price in the end.
I bought this bike for my commute to work. It was on sale for about $180, so I still feel like I got a good deal. I would not pay full price for this bike. The package it was in arrived with holes on either side. The wheels were out of true, and it didn't move well or easily after assembly. I ended up taking it to a bike shop for servicing and adding fenders, a rear rack, bike lights, and a kickstand to make it more practical for my daily commute. I do recommend this bike. Just be aware that you're probably going to need pay for servicing immediately, even if you don't add the stuff that I did. You may or may not just be better off buying a bike at your local bike shop, depending on how expensive it is. ... show more
