I bought this 6 months ago and in the first week the bolts started to rust after they got wet. This is an Arizona car so rust is abnormal here. It peeled the paint off the brackets and made the whole thing look bad, not to mention that the wing came with 4 missing bolts. I went and bought high quality bolts at ACE Hardware when I first installed the wing 6 months ago and those bolts did not rust. I currently have to find new black brackets because the paint is chipping off due to the rust, but I can’t find them anywhere. I would go for something of higher quality so that in the future you don’t have to repaint and replace the wing like I do. ... show more

I pulled the legs off (screwed on) and then siliconed them back on as well as the screws. I felt they needed that extra strength. Then I trashed the glue/pad it came with and siliconed it to the trunk lid itself, and then put four self-tapping sheet metal roofing screws though each base and directly through the trunk lid to assure a solid and SAFE fit. Looks really techno. I used green screw heads that matched the paint on the car. I then ran the car up over 100 MPH to check performance, and I could tell a difference even at lower speeds, plus there was no indication of breakage or detachment. The spoiler arrived packed ok and undamaged. It looks pretty good overall, but will require modifications to the mounting bracketsvon the wing itself, the holes do not line up in any of the supplied positions. The holes in the brackets will have to be dremeled in order to mount the wing. You get what you pay for. Also the hardware for mounting the end plates to the spoiler leaves a little to be desired, so I replaced it with more suitable gear. Still not bad for the money, just be ready to have to tweak it to get it installed. Also no instructions or parts list. ... show more

Looks good. Not built to last a long time but it does look good. Make your car look fast while making it slower A teenage dream. This Kia Spectra can't get out of its own way with a 28sec 1/4 mile but it looks fast. 3 months in I see stress cracks around mounting holes. So buy a spare.
