My 4.5 yo had an old bike before. Assembling this reminded me how much better a bike can be and feel. I intentionally bought a bit larger but she immediately learned to handle it. Looks awesome. The color/painr is great. The bike is strong yet light (lighter than a 2 inch smaller different brand i got for my son). Bik was advertised to have brakes on the pedals but when the bike was being assembled it turn d out there were no coaster brakes. Also , bike was not easy to assemble and directions were not the best
