This bed rocks!!! Its super sturdy and is well made. Per previous reviews the paint is a little thin and you can see the wood under it but I like it. The parts are not all numbered but the directions are pictures so it's easy to understand. We didnt use the allen wrenches this came with since we had a better one. Overall it's pretty great and my daughter LOVES the tent. I weigh 155lbs and I climbed up on the bed with my kid and it is strong. Perfect for little kids. It is packaged well with lots of stuff between the peices and styrofoam to keep it from getting banged up. Ships fast as well. The box is probably 7 feet long and you'll definitely need some help lifting it because its not light. Had a fun afternoon putting this together. Even the little helped! ... show more

We needed extra space in our 5 year old's room but didn't feel comfortable with a tall loft bed. This was the perfect solution. The "Clubhouse" underneath hides all the toys so the room looks bigger and cleaner. Sturdy bed too! Assembly is possible alone as long as you don't have a toddler interrupting and climbing on things... highly recommended to assemble alone, in peace or with some extra help, especially for the steps where you need to connect big pieces. My 4 year old absolutely loves this bed. It was easy to assemble took around three hours but it was worth it. Very sturdy and the fort adds a little something special for my kid. I’m kinda jealous

active toddler! we were having issues with my 3 yr old son going under his original toddler his bed and flip off his matress and moving his bed all around his room. lol. we needed something heavy, sturdy, & something he could crawl that wasn't dangerous for him to play with. this loft bed was perfect solution, sometimes he likes to sleep in the bottom, it's safe space for his to play or sleep. he hasn't tried to move the mattress or the bed since we got it! it's not to high off the ground,he only feel off once lol but was totally fine. he loves climbing up and down the ladder. and love that he can "go downstairs and upstairs". he has no problems in the middle of the night going down the ladder to use the potty. no more moving his bed or mattress around the room! took me and my husband about 2hrs to put together. so happy we are this purchase ... show more

My son loves the bed! Everything came included even the tent and even arrived sooner than expected. Assembly instructions were simple to follow, but actually putting together took some elbow grease. I tried completing using just the tools that came included and a screwdriver but my hands took a real beating. I gave up and ended up using a drill to complete the last step. Instructions say two adults can assemble in two hours. It took about five hours with an infant and toddler interfering, but we think we *could* have done it in under an hour with no interruptions. Super easy! Note: even after measuring, it’s a bit shorter underneath than we imagined. Perfect for our little one, but you should double-check if you have plans to out specific items underneath. Perfect for 4yr old’s first “big kid” bed. Previous kid concerns about heights were never mentioned as kiddo excitedly climbed up to try it out. Ladder seems to be very slightly “off” in measurement. It is 100% secure, but the cut-out notches at top appear to not quite meet the railing as they should. Still, no safety or even aesthetic concerns, just something we noticed when assembling. (You’d never notice it, even with thorough inspection, unless you were the person attaching the ladder.) ... show more

So it’s a little higher than I thought but it works great. It’s easy to build you just have to make sure you align every piece perfectly, I didn’t so I was constantly going back and forth with screwing and unscrewing. It comes with screws to screw in the tent part but it has a velcro adhesive on the actual tent so the screws are useless. Make sure if you have an electric tool use it, I didn’t have one so it took me a lil longer than usual but it still got done. So far it seems pretty sturdy, my boy jumps on it and it can hold him and i together ... show more
