Style: TGB01 - Sakura Tram
A great gift for those who are into this sort of thing. It took my wife and I about twelve (12) hours to complete—we’ve never done anything like this before though! I am SHOCKED I didn’t destroy this thing at like five different points. The pieces can be mad small, and most are surprisingly hardy, but some are more delicate—and the more you put it together, the more delicate portions of what you just built become. The instructions are alright—decent enough to get through without TOO much confusion, but could be better. Also, the instruction ORDER got fairly questionable at times, particularly towards the end. We often found ourselves wondering why it would have us doing things in a way that only increased fragility and future-connectivity-difficulty. And putting it all together at the very very end was QUITE the test since you’re aligning a bunch of tiny holes and connectors, many of which you can’t even quite see and are a millimeter off, leading to some frustration. I ended up being a little more liberal with the glue in the back half. I only broke two of the small pieces partly—one of which there was a spare for, and the other was easily masked/glued back. I also partly broke one of the bigger awning pieces, but it did not snap off and was able to be completely fixed/masked. I don’t even know which piece it was anymore. Despite the complaints, my wife and I had a great time building this thing. The lights are a nice touch and were easy enough to do the wiring for. Again, for noobs be expecting about a 12 hour commitment. We did it over the course of 4 or 5 days.

Very easy to put together. One of my most favorite book nooks. Mirror in back makes it look like it goes on forever. Will need glue and patients to complete. Took about 5 hours. Easy to follow instructions. Lights look amazing. Have at work on desk. Very good quality

This was a fun box to make. Initially one of the boards of materials was not printed well, but I contacted the company and got a replacement. It did take a couple weeks to arrive, but it didn’t cost anything and was a good replacement. The instructions are pretty easy to follow (except maybe where to place the glue). Be sure to look out for when it says the pieces are easy to break! One of the arms on the wheels is particularly easy to break (I glued it back together very carefully and was able to salvage it). The end result is a really wonderful piece to add a little something to my bookshelves. I love the color scheme and fun little details throughout the piece. Definitely going to do at least another one!

Style: TGB04-Time Travel
While this initially looked complicated coming out of the box, the only real concern came with running the electrical wiring. While not difficult to do, the wires are very thin and delicate, and by the time I was done, two wires had broken, making them dangerously short and requiring me to strip them again. Had they broke just once more, lights would've been non-functional. Aside from that, the instructions are easy to follow, and the pieces are precision cut so that, for the majority of the build, the pieces fit together snugly without the use of glue, which is provided. It also provides a small square of sandpaper, which is necessary for sanding burrs off of the edges of the pieces prior to assembly. It helps smooth out the lines and prevents splinters, which are a very real possibility with these kits. Just work slowly and methodically, and you'll be fine. Another helpful point is that the wood is pre-stained, so no painting is necessary. The laser cutting is consistent, and I never needed a knife or special equipment to remove the pieces from their sheets. For any piece with words or pictures on them, the pieces are printed on cardboard, which also sands down nicely. Use the glue sparingly. They include a LOT, but I barely had to use any of it. It dries fairly quickly, and you will instantly know if you used too much because it's suddenly everywhere. Finally, pay attention to the instructions, specifically regarding any of the electrical aspects. If you mount the power switch wrong, it simply won't work. Also pay close attention when removing the wire shielding. The wires are very thin and fragile; I can't over state that point. Overall, and fun and satisfying build, but probably not the best for kids. It's a bold step into copyright infringement, but putting this next to anything Harry Potter-related will make the original intent clear.

Style: TGB01 - Sakura Tram
The media could not be loaded. My roommate and I both bought these for ourselves, she got the sakura densya and I got sunshine town. I left a review for sunshine town, that was a whole thing in itself, but this is for the sakura densya! The process of assembling this seemed more refined and organized than sunshine town and was fairly easy to build and get everything together! I will say some things would sit crooked at times (like the train) but if you pop a little glue in the gap before you put the pegs in then it'll fix it just fine. Some things struggle to fit together properly like the walls, and we had to saw like 2 pegs off to get it together smoothly. This took around 3 days of 2-3 hour sessions each day to make with both my roommate and I working on it, as sometimes we would get stuck and have to figure out crafty ways to make it work. This was really fun and comes out great but you might have to be a little crafty at times to make some parts work.
