Was an exact fit with regards to the holes and straps and good value for seat covers comparted to other high end neoprene seat covers. Not sure on the water repellent properties but it appears it would protect the seats from stains and fading. ... show more

To start, I typically hate neoprene seat covers. They often feel cheap and kinda grody, imo. These ones on the other hand are EXTREMELY nice. The good- extremely comfortable, breathable, and high quality. Good price too! You won’t be disappointed. The bad- they were HARD to get on. Holy smokes, I was out in my truck for easily two hours fighting, trying to get them on my seats. The headrest covers for the front don’t quite fit right, maybe an inch too small on the bottom so the Velcro can’t close, but they’re on there! The backseat ones were especially hard to get on (the middle and rear driver seat). Overall though, highly recommend, be prepared to put some muscle into it, a full body workout for sure haha ... show more

Looked very hard for a good fitting set of seat covers for my 21 model Tacoma. As a big hunter and outdoorsman it was always difficult to clean the mud or water off the seats. I'm thrilled with the results! I spent around an hour and a half carefully fitting the seat covers onto my truck, making sure that they were installed perfectly. To make the process easier, I removed the front seats, which allowed me to attach the straps at the bottom with ease. Installing the covers was a breeze, and I didn't encounter any challenges. However, I would recommend taking your time to ensure that the seams are aligned correctly as it can affect the overall look of the covers. Update: Excellent customer service from Rough Country. I received replacement under warranty. Price is ok for what you get. Much less costly than some other brands. There’s a Rough Country video that demonstrates the installation that is helpful. There are some smoke and mirrors as unlike in the video, it is difficult to get your hands under the front seats. Also they don’t actually show where the straps are connected to the seats without interfering with the manual or electrical mechanisms. Even through the TC website states that these are not designed for Tacomas with electrical drivers seats their video shows installation on such as model! The opening for the manual controls gets partially inserted behind the plastic. Doesn’t look great but I’m the only one that will see it. Some customers have removed their seats to facilitate installation. I made a snaking tool to get around all the mechanisms. They fit nicely. Covers are snug and need to be pulled tight in order to connect the straps especially the hook ones. The front seats are particularly difficult to install and make the connections under the seats. The rears are fairly easy, however you end up with a matrix of belts on the rear hard surface. I’m not sure how they will hold up after repeated placement of cargo on them. You also lose the buckle retention features so they will end under under the seat bottoms every time you lift them. And there’s the smell that everyone talks about. I parked in my garage with the windows opened for a few days and it subsided. The driver side cover and one of the front head rests arrived with a deep indentation possibly from being compressed against one of the buckles during shipping. ... show more
