This cushion elevated me so I could see and eased hip pain from sitting in and getting out of car bucket seats. I've tried a few other style seat cushions from other manufacturers and they were too firm. My commute to work is only a half hour and I am comfortable using cushion in car. I don't know if I could use it for a long road trip, maybe I'd have to switch cushions back and forth but it does seem a lot better using cushion to fill gap in bucket seat. Price was good too. The memory foam feels a little stiff when you first sit down, but it slowly but surely conforms and feels great, with terrific support. I got two car cushions, this is the first one I am trying, also the least expensive. It lifts me up high enough to see the front end of my car! I like the adjustable strap in the back to keep it in place, even though the bottom of it has a non-slide texture, which seems to work. I can't feel the seat heater through it but the cushion doesn't hold the cold. It might be too firm. I have yet to drive for any length of time using it.
