I have big-time sensitivity to heat, and bc of that I have a hard time finding mitts that don’t transfer heat. Not only are these longer, do they cover my arms well, but they are thick and have not transferred an ounce of heat. You still have pretty good dexterity while wearing them. Good gloves but a little too stiff. They were shipped quickly and arrived in brand new condition just as pictured. I like how long they are as they cover 6 inches of my forearms as well. The color is nice and they are very good about blocking the heat. These gloves are very easy to clean as well. I have been using them for months and months and I don't think they are going to soften up at all. I showed a picture while I was holding a pan so you could see that I am capable of holding a pan with one hand but the material is fighting my grip a bit. My gloves thumb tip always protrudes out farther than my actual thumb and into whatever is in the pan. I did get a square holder as well but we just don't really use it for anything other than laying hot stuff on top of. I am not sure I would buy these again because I like softer gloves but they are sturdy, aesthetically pleasing and heat resistant. I won’t go back to the cloth ones ever again. The trivets work great for putting hot af dishes on the table too. I like the big gloves, but my husband likes the small fingertip ones. TIP- make sure your hands are clean before you use them. Washing them out would be annoying. I wonder if you can toss em in the dishwasher like a plate or glass??? I’ll just wash my hands before using them so the inside stays clean too. ... show more
