  • Works very well and support is top notch
I have had this product for a little over a year and it has come in handy quite a few times. I am a Scuba instructor and have needed this to inflate various items at the lake where a normal air compressor isn't typically brought too. I have also had a few students who had flat tires and this helped them get to a location where they could get their tired fixed. I recently lost the charger for the battery charger and the company sent me a replacement free of charge. I will definitely recommend RoofPax to others. ... show more

  • It blew up my big pick up truck tires just fine LT 265/ 75R16
My tires are porous and I had not driven my truck in a while so two of the for were completely flat. I had charged the compressor battery first thing and I noticed, it seems to run the best right through that battery. But we also used connected to the truck battery and then they the plug into the wall socket. I was surprised it was able to handle all 4 tires but I did change the power source around, but those is good too know it can get you out of a bind. As long as you keep the battery charged and everyone ready to go you'll be fine. But it's not recommended to leave in the hot car. My tires size is LT 265/ 75R16 for reference. I prefer this over my harbor freight pan cake inflator that took forever to build up pressure and struggled in certain temperatures... This one is ready to go plus it reads your tire pressure when you get started and you can let it do its thing and it stops at the psi you set. The reason I bought this compressor over some of the others is the long warranty. I read through many many advertisements and reviews and this one stuff out to me even though it's a little higher than some of the other but I also knew I wanted this for my pick up and my car. I decidedv to invest a little more money since it gives the warranty. Very easy to register for the warranty also, just scan the code/send a text and you're good. Not the annoying having to log in and make an account on a website bla bla..... Overall I am pleased and it does as advertised for me. Blessings to you💚 ... show more

  • Works well, but lacks long term durability
I’ve had this pump for 2 years now, and although it still works currently, it hasn’t been without some durability issues. For example, The power cord got a short in it after the first year, so I’ve been using the battery and car lighter plug ever since. This pump has seen a lot of use on my vehicle over 2 years and now some plastic parts are beginning to wear out at the end of the air hose, where it connects to the tire valve stem. It’s just about to break and once that happens, not sure if it’s worth hanging on to as I would only be able to pump up toys and floating rafts and things of that nature. No more vehicle tires, and that is why I purchased it in the first place. ... show more

  • malfunctioning first time out/superlative customer service
Bought this in November of '21 as a precautionary measure and first used it a few days ago. Plugged it in to the garage outlet, but it would only work in the battery mode; and then only in short bursts. (I had to repeatedly turn it on and off to get it to function at all.) Digital readout didn't work as outlined in the instructions, which neglected to include how to charge the battery. Figured plugging it in to an outlet would do the trick. But after doing so for hours, the battery mode (w/o the unit being plugged in) was nonfunctional. The only reason I gave it a second star was that I did manage to finally get the tires to their proper inflation. I have reached out to the company. I'll update when (if?) I hear back from them. UPDATE: Within a day of contacting RoofPax, they responded with an apology, and, honoring their warranty, informed me they were sending me a replacement unit and a little something extra as a gesture of goodwill (!). From 2 stars to 5 stars. ... show more

  • Great customer service
I bought this over three years ago. Worked great. Used it often, probably more than it was designed for. Well it finally broke, which was disappointing but I got in touch with the company directly, told them what had happened, and they sent me a new one free of charge! Great customer services

  • Perfect concept, failed after 4 tires
Product failed on day one, total junk: I topped-off four tires, adding about 5 pounds to each, this took about 90 minutes, and after an hour adding air to tire number 5 I switched to tire number 6, and after and hour of that one running and getting nowhere I assumed the unit was overheated or something so I let it sit for a while. A half-hour later I went back to start it up and heard a hissing sound and found the air hose had a leak right near the body of the compressor. This dumb thing was draining my tire! I'll be returning it. How hard is it to make a 120v tire inflator? Ugh. UPDATE: I opted to give them another try with an immediate replacement but this one failed even more quickly than the first: On the first tire it got through 15 or so PSI before failing with a burning plastic smell and something broken off and rattling around inside the housing and the motors making an undulating sound (so that broken thing is probably the regulator that turns the motors off when pressure is reached?) Anyway, two tries and both failed on day one. These things are a great concept but unfortunately they appear to be poorly-built junk. ... show more

  • Outstanding Portable Tire Inflator
I was looking for one of these products that could inflate the 60 psi compact spare tire I have for my Hyundai Sonata. I received an email reply from the legendary Jade in RoofPax customer service confirming that this inflator could handle the 60 psi. And the RoofPax came through with flying colors. Highly recommended. Also, really appreciate that it comes with its own nicely designed storage bag. ... show more

  • Variable power sources are handy.
Worked great the one time I got to use it, then someone decided they wanted it more than me.
