The trucks and cushions help guide your turns and provide control so you can dance, glide, and spin to your heart's content. Indoor/outdoor 56mm x 33mm polyurethane wheels have good grip and bounce on smooth surfaces and can roll at fast speeds thanks to Bevo Silver-5 Race Rated bearings. Reewind (black skates with black wheels) fits true to Men’s whole shoe sizes; women go down one size, for example if you wear a Women's 9, choose Men's 8. The Candi Grl line of skates by Roller Derby Elite mixes fun and fashion with a dash of nostalgia. These skates are great. They have padding in the boot and it provides a lot of ankle support. I ended up purchasing 2 pairs. I didn't plan on it but I purchased mine in 2020 and when I decided to buy my son a pair I purchased him the exact same skates as I have. Well his skates fit my foot like a glove so I ordered the same size as him. Now I have 3 pairs of these awesome skates. We are beginner skaters however my son is skating a lot and has learned so much within 6 skating lessons. He can crossover, skate backwards, and pivot. He loves these skates. I'm still learning at a much slower pace than him. He's 9 years old and has picked up skating like a pro on these skates. They are very comfortable to skate in. Started skating again a few years ago. Even though I just got these, I can already tell they are better than the cheap skates I was using. They move better, and they are pretty comfortable right off the bat. They fit fairly true to size. I wear an 8.5 in women's so when I got the black ones, I got a 7 since they are men sizes. I don't really like the flimsy laces they come with, so I ordered some new ones to replace them. Otherwise, they seem really great and I can't wait to use them every week. ... show more

They fit pretty good a little snug maybe they'll stretch out some over time, I might order a bigger size & see which ones feel better, the "leather" of course is not real leather so I'm worried about cracking & peeling. Overall I think they are pretty good skates. I haven't tried them out yet but can't wait to. I wasn't sure about which size to order (in women's vs men's) since I was getting the black rewind edition. I'm a 8.5 in women's (so a 7 in men's), and I went with the 7, and it fits like a glove! I got these to learn how to skate (was looking for a new hobby, and I've always wanted to learn!), along with some knee pads and wrist guards. I love them so much! Very pleased with the skates and delivery was fast. I am getting back into skating and needed some skates but didn't want to pay a lot of money for a hobby that I am starting over. These skates look nice and performed well. The wheels were about slippery but after I while I got back into the groove. Would definitely recommend for beginners ... show more

My husband purchased these for me for my 40th birthday. I know crazy right? But I wanted a pair since I grew up on states. I must say, my center of gravity isn't what it used to be, but I'm determined to use them. Right now, I just skate around my house, like inside, through the kitchen and living room. Baby Steps. . . He also just purchased me knee and elbow pads- I can tell he doesn't have much hope for me. But regardless, they are fun. I'm sure one day I'll get the hang of them, but for now, I'll just skate around and have fun (inside my house where no one can see me). ... show more

Great skates for beginners! However, if you want to change your bearings or wheels (which you definitely will want to) you might as well just go buy a better quality brand of skates like Moxi. The wheels are hard, small, and the bearings are permanently installed. Also, it doesn't come with a tool so you have to buy a 1/2" socket to loosen the wheels.     • Learn to break in your new skates
I ordered the all black Reewind style skates(men's size 7). I wear a woman's 8. At first the fit was disappointing because I didn't realize that you should adjust the laces to your comfort. That issue is fixed after googling, 'how to break in your roller skates.' The tips provided helped a lot and I won't have to return because they are getting more comfy with wear. Will post photos soon. They arrived on time. I may get them airbrushed in purple and gold at the mall and get purple wheels and add some skate charms in the future to them. ... show more
