My son loves it. Cons: Plan for 2-1/2 hrs assembly. I was a fleet mechanic & handy with a wrench, and while I was tired after the move it took me 2.5 hrs by myself. YMMV. It wasn't difficult at all, just time consuming. Very clear instructions. Also the draws roll on the floor, they don't have their own rails, but not a big deal. It is a well put together package! I will be buying another for our second child. I like the fact that the drawers and foot board prevent things from going under, or more accurately, being stuffed into the abyss of under the bed! The only thing I recommend is to have proper tools. They send Alan keys and all the hardware, but assembly would have been painful and taken forever without a drill or impact driver, 4mm and 5mm hex drives adapted to the drill, a swivel adapter for getting in corners, and a Phillips. On that note; if you do not know how to properly drive hardware with power tools then start the screws by hand (ensuring you are not cross threaded) then driving with the drill/impact driver. ... show more

I purchased this bed for my 11-year old and he loves it. Nice quality and changing light feature is a big plus. The only reason I give it 4 stars is because of drawers. They are not sturdy and rolling out. But considering the price it's manageable.

This was purchased for my 3-year-old great grandson, whose going from a crib to a bed. So far, he's pretty excited about sleeping in a big bed. The was pretty easy to assemble, just follow the steps and in order, there's a reason for this method, the lights are a nice feature. not sure how long they'll last with a youngster. The under-storage drawers are a nice plus verses not having a dresser. This too is subject a real evaluation once we all settle into the new bed. My son and I spent some quality time putting his new bed together... This bed looks amazing once it is set up. The dual usb plugs make it convenient for him to charge his tablet and watch at the same time. The multi colored LEDs at the headboard and footboard are very cool.

The media could not be loaded. The assembly it’s tedious because it has a lot of pieces that needy yo be assembled, but all in all it took me and my 13 year old about 2 hours to get it together. It is sturdy so far but only have it for about two weeks now. The only person that sleeps on li its my son and he is 13th so it’s good for him.
