I'm incredibly impressed by this TV. At this price point - and screen size - it really is a bargain. Good screen and audio (I'm not an audio/video-phile so... take it for what it is 😅) and incredibly light weight! Set up was really straightforward (installing the legs was - not difficult - but the hardest part) Plug it in, connect to your Wi-Fi and roku set up comes right up; plug in your cable and dvd HDMIs (if you have one or both) and you're all set. Editing the roku menus is pretty simple too (check you tube for a few hints and how tos). If you're familiar with roku then you know about the wide variety of options. Also, it makes accessing your streaming services a breeze too. It's only been a few days but I can recommend this set highly for anyone looking for a smaller screen and/or roku option. ... show more

I only give it 4 stars because it's a basic smart TV (aka, not OLED, or some other high end TV). Size upgrade from a 24" to the 32" for the bedroom. The 24" was a Samsung with Roku device attached. which I liked. I also have a 55" TCL Roku TV. Very familiar with Roku and I like the interface. With Roku built into the TV, and if you have an antenna, the option to select antenna is built into the choices of on screen inputs. Makes it easy. This particular TV is fine. Nothing special over and above the other TV's I have. It's only 720P, but fine for a bedroom, etc. Picture is very good, and sound is fine (but obviously can be much better with a sound bar). One review mentioned that the plastic used to protect the bezel during shipping is hard to get off. They weren't wrong. Not that hard, but a bit of a pain. Why they don't make it easier to remove the plastic is beyond me. Getting nit picky with negatives, because it's not that big a deal, and there's really nothing else to complain about. Overall, a good quality TV at a good price. Recommended... Edit 2/16/24: Upping rating from 4 to 5 stars due to great customer service. Had an issue with the remote where the original batteries lasted about 3 days. Replaced the batteries with new, and same thing. * This is a known random issue with Roku remotes. I have 2 other Roku remotes that do not do this. Called Roku support. First call: Reset and re-pair the remote to see if it helps. Same issue. Called back day 2 and they said they would send me a new remote. New remote received in 2-3 days. Works as it should (no high battery drain). Roku support answered the phone within seconds and were very pleasant ("off-shore"). They even called back the next day to see if the issue was taken care of to me satisfaction. I love the fact that I don't have a monthly bill. It is easy to set up and there are a variety of programs to watch. Also if you miss a program you can always watch it later. The picture quality is excellent.

I'd been using a Ruku Streaming Stick on my Samsung Smart TV in the living room. When that TV died after 5 years I decided to go with a Roku enabled TV. I had previously purchased a 32" Philips brand Roku TV for the small guest bedroom and really liked how easy it was to set up and use but their Roku remote doesn't have voice control so I went with the Roku brand for the 40" replacement. I'm glad I did. So light to handle. Connecting to my internet only took a couple of minutes. And I signed into my APPs using the QR codes and went through those quickly. The sound is OK for the price but I may invest in some speakers. The only problem was in attaching the legs. You have to drop 4 short tiny black screws into 4 dark black tunnels and hope they fall into the holes at the bottom before trying to tighten them. Had to enlist some help so one of us could hold a flashlight to the openings and keep the TV from sliding while the other guided the screws into the holes and tightened them. I think TV manufacturers should look into making legs for these TVs that snap into place. Overall, a good TV for a reasonable price. ... show more

I use this in the guest room. It was very easy to set up. I put this on a swivel base, and the VESA nuts on the back worked just fine. The picture is good, and the sound is good for a relatively small TV. The Roku OS is very good, and the apps load quickly.

I bought this for my guest room because i it is compatible with all the other TVs in my home. Roku is a great, trustworthy brand. I love the Roku TV channel where I can get my local news easily and watch many shows and movies.
