Seriously though, it was enjoyable to assemble, and it is fun to mess with. A switch like thing broke on the drum mag, it doesn't really effect the function though. After assemble these and shoot them a couple of times, they are pretty much just for display, the fun of shooting them wears off quickly. ... show more

Amusingly, at Christmas imagine the surprise when 3 out of 4 brothers received this on Christmas morning thinking they had uniquely nailed the perfect Christmas gift for their siblings. And to be honest, they did. Each brother (with varying levels of patience and experience) enjoyed putting together and using this gift. The ease to assemble is NOT a knock on the product. It is what MADE the experience fun. There were clear instructions and it was absolutely possible.     • One of the most sturdy 3D Wooden Puzzles we've ever built
We are in the habit of purchasing a 3D Wooden Puzzle every once in a while, and rubber band guns have been quite fun. This model is definitely one of the sturdiest - it has metal screws and strong plastic parts in several key components, so even after a couple of weeks of use, it hasn't malfunctioned. We haven't had such a good experience with other models from other brands, where all the parts are wooden, and wear off and malfunction after just a few days of play. The only deficiency we noticed is that the laser cutter producing the parts must have been slightly miscalibrated, since some parts had notably shifted and/or unaligned holes and prints.
