  • Impressive and creative!
This is a 5 star product for me. I did break two pieces, some of the pieces were very difficult to push together, and it doesn’t work perfectly every time. I did also use a little super glue in a few pieces. However, the design of sending a few sheets of balsa wood, to make something like this had my wife and I blown away. It’s super impressive… I thought my 5 year old and I could do this together, not for kids lol Some comments reference a few of the issues I mentioned as reasons for knocking off stars, it’s a delicate, very elaborate, balsa wood marble theme ride… it’s not made of plastic and it’s not supposed to be a quick throw together project. The fun is in the assembly. So carve out a few nights, or weeks and enjoy this marvel! Thanks for a challenging and fun build. Highly recommend. ... show more

  • Great Marble run that takes time to build
The media could not be loaded. 11/12/22 I’ve had this sitting on my kitchen counter for about 10 months now. It’s been a conversation piece and it’s been enjoyed all that time so it’s was definitely worth the hard work and time it took to build it. My wife even enjoys it being there. Kids seem to enjoy it the most and marvel at how it works. However, one energetic kid was a bit too forceful with it and broke off the handle. For longevity, you need to tell everyone to be easy on it and not force things since gear meshing etc can momentarily bind. FYI The handle attachment is a weak link which breaks before other more complicated pieces break. It is easily fixed by gluing a patch piece of plywood over the broken area. Original review I like the way this kit turned out a lot. The pieces are of high quality and fit together nicely. It’s a lot above average in difficulty and you’ll need persistence to put it together. Also there are a few areas that need tuning that I describe in my video. But once it’s tuned it works great. To summarize, you’ll need to a) add a guard rail to stop the ball bearings from occasionally exiting the spiral. You can use the left over original plywood cut out. Just find a 5” diameter guide pieces (I used 8mm film can) and use it to cut the outside diameter of the spiral. b) put a plywood wedge with 45 angle under one drop hole (finger points to location in photo) to kick the bearings forward and keep it moving c) add the correct number of spacer rings so the bearing drop freely between the plastic pieces and d) adjust the play in the flip-flop so it alternates properly. Mine works very well and people really like it as do I. ... show more

  • Great overall
Pieces can be very brittle, and pay close attention to the instructions. Don’t rush. It will take about 6 straight hours to build. Not enough spare pieces for the most brittle parts.

  • drink decaf before assembly .
although, in my opinion, you need a steady hand plus patience, these kits are a blast. Some are connectable, others , free standing. If you you enjoy 3D puzzling plus a dash of creativity, check these out. The design is quite innovated. Assembly is adult oriented, the quality was on point for the workmanship. I had no missing pieces but have read reviews were this did occur. however, you can get replacement pieces by contact. Its functionality was a bit jittery, but this could be because of construction. they are a nice size to sit on a bookcase and sure to pike the interest of family and friends. After all, you build it.have fun...........Donnie P ... show more

  • Fun & Excellent quality
This model was fun to put together. I was impressed with the quality of materials, of the laser cutting, and the assembly instructions. Easy to find and remove parts from templates and they fit precisely. Completed model looks and works great. Very impressed with this 3D model.

  • Disappointing Experience – Not Worth the Effort
I purchased the ROKR 3D Wooden Marble Run Model (LGA01 Marble Night City) for my son for Christmas, and I cannot overstate how disappointing this experience has been for our family. My son is an experienced and meticulous builder who followed every instruction carefully. Despite his skill and patience, not a single stage of this model worked as intended. The pieces didn’t fit together properly, and the overall design felt poorly engineered. The materials are low quality, which made assembly even more frustrating. After hours of effort and precision, the final product simply did not function as advertised. I cannot recommend this kit to anyone. It was a hassle from start to finish, and the end result was an inoperable, disappointing model. Save your time, money, and energy for a product that delivers on its promises. ... show more

  • Neat puzzle
Difficult puzzle. That’s why it is fun. Rated for 14 and over. Smaller than images make it appear. Takes patience to complete. My adult son spent 8 hours over two days to finish. Worth the effort.

  • Cool concept/flimsy materials
The marble run/puzzle was fun to put together, and it's a great concept. However, the materials are quite flimsy and do not always fit together properly. Sometimes you have force it a bit, then glue it in place. I think they would be better off with larger and sturdier materials, even if it made the marble run bigger. (They do send spare parts with the set, but not always the part that you need after breaking it (flimsy). Again, it was fun, but being so flimsy it doesn't work properly and just needs to go in the trash. ... show more
