Not only is the case tough, but the magnet saved my phone from becoming road kill. I accidently left my phone on the bumper of a very stiff suspension truck, and drove over 20 miles before noticing that my phone was missing. Update: customer service reached out to me to apologize and send a case without the magnet installed on the bottom it works great now because of the excellent customer service I have updated this to a5 star review First off this is a nice case. Built very well out of good quality material. I would have kept it except it does not meet my needs or expectations For whatever reason the magnet on my case was flipped meaning it had reverse polarity so it could not connect to my magnet holder Second issue is that it affects any use of the stylus for the bottom half of the screen. I'd say if you don't need a stylus and if you get one with a good magnet then it's worth it ... show more

I bought this to replace a big name heavy duty case that I had cut a hole in to put a magnetic device on the back. The other magnetic device ended up coming apart and I was left with a case with a big hole that I needed to replace. I didn't even know these existed until I stumbled upon them and I'm SO glad I did. More than I like to pay for a case but I know the good ones aren't cheap. I was more than pleased with the apparent level of protection (I'm hard on phones) and the case is not nearly as bulky as other heavy duty cases. A single piece instead of two layers, easy to install but fits very snug. The magnets are strong so I can stick my phone up on the horse corrals, gates, my shop shelves or cabinets, my shopping cart to view my list etc. -- Bought a pack of metal plates so I can mount in vehicles etc. Great case! ... show more

Looks cool, like you're a stoic cyborg ninja from an anime, but I can't turn on my screen just by tapping. The magnet causes interference so you're forced to use the side analog button to use your phone. That can be quite a hassle, especially if you can't reach your phone properly. Update: Now it tapping works. Tried to look up what other interference this magnet causes and apparently some people have experienced interference with their stylus pen. I bought it FOR the magnet and I was surprised of the limited amount of places that these magnets actually attaches to. Also, the case doesn't even seem to properly protect the front part of the phone like my previous case which the front cover sticks out more. There's also no grip whatsoever so it can slide out from your pocket, especially if you do ninja stuff in the jungle. For such an expensive case, it's most definitely mid-tier. Update: The magnet also prevents from Google Maps from working properly, specifically the walking GPS. My guess is that there's an internal compass or something. Works okay for vehicle GPS though. 2nd Update: Tap screen now works all of the sudden. No idea why. Increasing score to 4 stars. It's still overpriced and I can't believe other brands don't have a strong magnet like this one. 3rd Update: What is the purpose of a phone case? To protect. It's only job really... and this case is terrible at that. As you can read from my initial review, I suspected that this case wouldn't be able to protect the front screen because it doesn't stick out enough. I was right. I just dropped my phone ON CARPET... and it damaged my screen (picture posted). The fact that my last case protected ALL falls on CONCRETE and it was 4x cheaper... renders this phone case virtually useless. All their drop tests from the 2nd floor are bogus. It only protects if it hits the right spot. Points deducted. Overpriced and unreliable. 1 out 5. Game Over. ... show more
