When you turn it off it plays music. That can be annoying when your trying to turn it off quietly. But other than that the speaker is very good. It plays with lights on or off if you wish.

I got the ROFALL Bluetooth Speaker with lights in the hopes of having something fun to take to the beach, BBQ's, anywhere really. With the HD sound they claimed to have (it doesn't), TWS dual pairing - whatever that is I was only able to get it to connect with my phone one time so I figured I'd try my laptop, that didn't go any better. I spent hours trying to connect it to my laptop with no success. I finally gave up and went back to my reliable Anker Soundcore. The one time I got it connected to my phone, the sound was like listening to a speaker that was inside a tin can. Way too much treble and not nearly enough mids and base in my opinion. I get this is a small speaker and has its limitations, but this was just a let down for me. I don't recommend this speaker at all. This little speaker packs a punch in terms of sound! I usually use it on the lowest and second lowest settings, because any louder would really start to annoy my neighbors. The sound is crisp and clear- simply awesome for the money! It was really easy to connect to my phone- just add it in bluetooth and it's good to go. After it has been added, it automatically connects to my phone when I turn it on. The light on the front are a nice feature. The color can be customized, and they can change in rhythm with the music. Someone else mentioned that this speaker isn't waterproof, and I can confirm that the instruction booket says that this speaker is not waterproof. Having said that, it does have rubber coverings on the buttons and charging port input, so I think at the very least it is water resistant. Realistically, I didn't expect a speaker at this price point to be completely waterproof, but it seems like this would at least be able to withstand a splash of water at the beach or pool. This was perfect for what I wanted. It's an inexpensive speaker that sounds great and is easy to use- what more can I ask for? ... show more

    • Looks cool, but let down by poor sound quality
Physically, it's a nicely designed little speaker. It's structurally solid and it has an overall attractive design. I thought the lighting effect was going to be horrible, but it's actually kind of nice and the color looks great coming from behind the black grille. I had no problems charging it, connecting to it via bluetooth, and playing music over it. The controls are easy to figure out and they behave in a reasonable way. The let-down with this speaker is the sound quality. Based on an audio test (youtube has them), the frequency response is about 120hz - 11khz, which means it's missing a lot of low bass frequencies and a bit of treble too. It's not particularly crisp, dynamic, warm or anything else. Although the enclosure is rigid (which is good) you can hear the sound echoing and resonating inside it - there appears to be no sound dampening or even tuning. I think this would be okay to listen to a podcast or the news, but you're going to be unhappy with music on this. It's only $12, and unfortunately you're getting that level of sound quality. These days great sound quality is available at lower and lower prices, but I don't think this is one of those amazing values. ... show more

For about $10 this thing is a steal. Is the bass there? Absolutely not. But it still puts out pretty solid sounding music and works great as a pickleball music companion strapped to the bag. Also the colors are super cool. Unfortunately it doesn't have memory when you turn it off so it won't stay on the color you want if you restart it. But it's not difficult to quickly tap through the light to your preferred color setting. Has a bunch of colors as well as rotating colors or colors that shift across the front. If you're looking for a speaker that you're not afraid to beat up, this is a perfect speaker for you. It's cheap, it sounds decent, and it looks cool with all the colors. The start up & shut down music is a little tacky, I won't lie, but who cares? It's 10 bucks. In terms of waterproofing, I've only gotten caught in the rain with it and it had no problems. It appears as if it would handle a strong rain/splash because on the covers and seal, but I can't guarantee it. ... show more

This is a very affordable Bluetooth speaker (about $9 at the time of this review). It’s compact, attractive, and the lights are a very fun feature. The sound, however, is not great and unfortunately that is the main job of a speaker! The bass is weak and the overall sound is very tinny. But the worst part is that even at max volume, it is not very loud. I bought this to use outside on a boat and it is just too quiet. ... show more
