Bought this as a high temp thread locker. While reading the instructions, saw that it could be used as an aggressive for ceramics and glass. Or cat broke the display stand (ceramic) for my wife's footprints poem that she had had for over 20 years.     • Great product and the industry standard for mmounting your Muzzle Brake!
There are other options like Loctite. I opted for what seems to be the Industry standard for mounting Muzzle Brakes. Requires soaking in hot water or applying heat to remove based on YouTugunsmith! Needs 12 to 24 hours to cure before firing your weapon per some gunsmiths!

Just what the title says, it’s a bit pricey but this stuff is what works best for muzzle devices with a taper fit. The suppressor and muzzle device are super snug so you need something that’s really gonna hold. This is it

    • Rockset thread locking sealant
Purchased product as recommended by Dead Air Silencers after Locktite failed to keep suppressor mount on rifle barrel. Installed as directed using Rockset, allowing 24 hours to cure. Worked fantastically. Was able to remove frozen suppressor from mount with only moderate effort. Hard to find product delivered quickly by manufacturer. Very nicely done.     • Application Correct
I used this to semi-permanently install two 1/2x28 suppressor mouts on my rifles. Clean the male and female threads with MEK substitute, alcohol, Nathan and let dry. Apply a drop to the male threads and install to whatever torque you like. Let dry for 24hrs before use. Then if you need to remove, the bonded area must be soaked in 200+ degree water for 20 minutes to destroy the bond, then you can remove your muzzle device. ... show more
