Love these! I bought a pair last year and wore them so muchI had to buy a new pair because I'd worn them down so much. For a thick sole flip flop they're really comfortable. I specifically bought them due to how thick the soles were and how sturdy the straps looked- and was not disappointed. I almost always break the straps to any flip flop, these after even a year didn't budge! If your looking for comfortable, durable flip flops that don't give you sores where the straps are, or get holes where the toes are etc. but these! The only thing I didn't like is the little tag on the strap but I cut it off when I get them so no biggie. Fit true to size, they're a little snug when you get them but after a couple days they loosen up a little so they're just right. ... show more

Very cushy and soft. Starts forming to your foot within hours of wear since the soles foam is so soft which offeres awesome support! Extremely true to size as I'm always an 8 and my toes are almost off the sandal. I may size up next time I buy some if I even have to as these are very sturdy. I bought these specifically cause my mom had these when i was growing up and she still has them today and I'm 28. I'm really hoping these will hold up the same way. So far they seem identical. I understand why some people say they're slightly slippery but after wearing off the soft coating on the bottom of the shoe it gets a bit better. Only thing I wish was different is the width for the toes I think if it was just a tiny bit wider I wouldn't feel the need to reccomend potentially sizing up. ... show more

These are very comfortable - I ordered 2 pair from amazon - One pair coming from us - Much different than the ones you can order from amazon from the uk Not sure what the difference is but pair that came in from uk are a harder sole and not as comfortable I would suggest ordering Rocket Dog directly or the ones on Amazon coming from the US ... show more

I've been wearing these flops for about 10 years. I normally wear a size 8 shoe but now get these in size 7 and they fit me great. They look good on your foot too (in my opinion). The reviews about the base/foundation wearing out quickly are true. Depends on how often you wear them. Mine make it about 1 1/2 - 2 years. But what flip flop lasts longer unless it is leather or you never wear due to pain? I think I'm on now my fifth pair of black ones. I did see that one review had a frayed strap which would be irritating. Thankfully mine have never done that. I give these a 5 star rating because I can walk a long distance in them without my feet hurting or getting blisters between my toes. I have never had that with any other flip flop or sandal I have ever worn. This is a big deal to me and therefore it does not matter that they wear down in a year or two...because I can actually walk in them and not deal with foot pain. I highly recommend them. I've only bought this style in black and brown over the years. Not sure how the other styles wear. This is the first time I've bought them on Amazon. The price was great and less than on the Rocket Dog website. They arrived new (in a box with four other items, but they were nice and new...you never know with Amazon products). ... show more

I love everything about these flip flops except for one MAJOR problem... these shoes have some kind of adhesive material on the bottom that starts out feeling like felt. Who wants soft felt on the bottom of their shoes? The second you step onto hardwood floors, linoleum, garage floors or any other smooth surface, your feet start to slide out from underneath your body! If the wearer is not prepared or careful, they could easily fall, like I did! I found a rough surface and did "the twist" for a minute or two, in an attempt to roughen up the soles & give them a little traction. Makes sense, right? Well, unfortunately, that only worked for a few hours because once this felt-like adhesive was roughed up, it started to peel off in patches! Occasionally, I would look down at my feet and see scraggly pieces of black material that reminded me of wet dog fur! On one scary occasion, a piece of this peeling mess got caught on my gas pedal while I was driving! Thankfully, I was able to rip it free fairly easily. If these flip flops had a safe, rubber sole, I would love them! ... show more

The quality of the flip flop is perfect I absolutely love Rocket Dog products anyway but I was genuinely surprised with how comfortable these sandals actually are. They hold the foot well lots of cushion and perfect for walking not a lot of flip flops allow you to walk in them as well but these are absolutely perfect and holds right to the foot I highly recommend this style and appearance very functional along with the black coloring I can wear them with anything and they are so are very light and have no weight to them at all I'm obsessed with the color the fit and the overall purchase. I normally wear a size 8 I sized up to a size 9 and was very happy with the fit ... show more
