Look nice and spin free. I've hit them in rock gardens and they've held up fine. The studs could be a little gripper, they slip a little when wet, so I'd sacrifice the shins and replace them with studs that aren't as smooth and round.

I run ROCKBROS nylon pedals on ALL of my bikes! My hardtail and full suspension mountain bikes and my rigid training bike for gravel/pavement. I must admit I'm a bit disappointed 😞 I ordered a new bike and the titanium finish would have been a phenomenal look for pedals! However, the pins are rounded on top so the traction isn't nearly as good on these as the nylon pedals. They're fantastic pedals and I'll probably put them on my training bike bike since I really don't need extreme traction. I thought about swapping out the pins since I have a few sets of replacement pins from my other 4 sets of pedals but it appears these pins can't be replaced, which kinda sucks. They're also a bit smaller than the nylon version. So, ROCKBROS, make these pedals in the same size and pin format as the nylon ones and you'll have the beat pedals on the market!! UPDATE: I decided to return these and get another pair of the nylon pedals. If traction isn't a HUGE concern these are extremely well made, as are all of the RockBros products, and look great! ... show more

As others have noted, the Rockbros oversized aluminum pedals are equivalent to name brands that cost several times as much. I have three pairs on different bikes and they have all performed well. In particular, they are easy to attach with a pedal wrench, light weight, spin freely and grip my sneakers well. I have used one pair for several years and they still look like new. I've ridden Shimano SPD since 1993... I thought I would give flat pedals a try after all this time, see what the hype is all about. The jury is still out as far as my preference of flats vs. clipless, but these pedals provided a relatively inexpensive option to test out flat pedals. First, they look great! I purchased the anodized red. They are performing well (staying smooth) and the finish is holding up great! And for reference, I'm 6'4", 245 lbs., so they pass the stress test. I can't see how any manufacturer can justify $100 for flat pedals! They aren't even as complex as SHIMANO PD-M540 that are less than $100. If these wear out, I'll probably just buy another set. I really don't think about them when I ride. Foot retention is almost clipless like. They just work like they should. So good I purchased another pair for my other bike. Ridden over a year with no problems. No maintenance or trouble. As smooth as the day they were installed. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Love the upgrade, worth every cent over the nylon pedals that came with the bike. Slow roll or spin. But not a problem for me. Some people need a spinny pedal, I don't it's perfect the slow spin....💗
