This is the first one of these kits that I put together. It was so much fun and very satisfying to do. The instructions that are included are really great quality and everything is labeled. Even the wooden pieces that you cut out/punch out are labeled by sheet number and then part number. They include a map so if you are ever confused about which part is which, you just open your map and find the shape that fits. The shapes on the map are drawn at life size, so it's easy to match up. Anytime I see a kit from Robotime or Rolife, I know it will be good quality. They give you everything you need to complete the model, except for the batteries. I found a few extra things helpful. I didn't like the tweezers that were provided so I swapped them out for very tiny eyelash tweezers and that was a big help. I also didn't like the glue provided so I used turbo tacky glue. I did have to use superglue for the sink faucet though. I also found an electric caliper useful for measuring since everything is in mm. They provide some sandpaper, but I found and emery board to be helpful for sanding in some places. I used a lighter for the shrink tubing on the wires. If there is fabric or wire or plastic for windows/glass they give you extra. I used the extra fabric to cover the area under the sink because I thought it looked unfinished. The only problem I had was that I ran short of the wiring for the battery but that was due to my own error. I made some mistakes with the wires and had to start over a few times, making them a bit short. I ended up using some other images for the pictures on the wall and used a sticker paper for the back of the sink instead of plain wood. ... show more

This is my second mini from this brand and I have to say, this one is much easier and nicer. It's probably something I would start any beginner off with. At first glance it may seem overwhelming because there is a lot of pieces and the instruction book is thick, but it's a semi quick build that can be customized and allows you to be really creative with how you place things. ... show more

    • Very cute kit with the little items! But adult supervision is needed in some areas!
First off if you are doing this kit with a child or younger person, I believe that adult supervision of intervention at times is necessary. The kit comes with all materials needed to fully construct it, so really the only thing you need to bring is a pair of scissors. That being said there are pieces of somewhat thicker wire that is used to add detail to the appliances that you will need to cut through. It can be a bit difficult since you have to put some force/pressure behind cutting these wires and the wires are a bit sharp at the end too. So for these moments if you doing this kit with a child I advise that an adult take over and do the cutting. The wooden pieces for furniture are thin and will break if too much pressure is applied. Sometimes this is inevitable since you need to force things in or you may be rushing to get to the next part. Take your time and flow naturally with the kit. The end result when taking your time is absolutely beautiful and so cute!! ... show more
