Got this when Amazon had it on sale and thought it would be fun to do. So, I ordered it. It was not the easiest thing to do, but it was very fun. Took a bit of figuring it out, but the instructions were pretty good. Will be ordering more of these!! BTW, it is not really a toy. I enjoyed putting this together. I got the book nooks with this train car in it and then saw this and had to do it. It has a USB connection to light the interior light. Attached pics of the two book nooks with the train in them. They were fun to do too. I recommend this one.

The wood is ez to break so you have to be careful, the one that you can blend is the weak point of thr wood that is the most u need to be very carefully and paid attention or it gonna snapped and now you to supper glue it

I had pretty low expectations for this based on the price and with a few reviews, but I was seriously impressed when I got this and put it together. Snapped together well, no broken pieces, it took a while to put together, but that's the point. This is great to keep your hands and mind busy. I hope I can find more like this one. Looks great on my desk, and it's a reasonable size when put together. Big enough to see the details but small enough to not take over the desk. I got this wooden puzzle kit to put together with my girlfriend. It is very similar to other wooden 3d puzzles we have done before, where every piece is on a flat sheet and needs to be pressed out. The instructions are straightforward, and I'm sure this would suit older kids as the title and description state. Building the puzzle was fun and took a few hours with two people. This is a very pretty, color printed kit, which is a nice change from the for commonplace wooden puzzles. Instructions were complete and easy to understand. The pieces are delicate and can break if you aren't careful, but we found them to be well cut and easy to remove from the boards. Minimal sanding was necessary, but we had the tools to do it if needed. Assembled in 1-2 short sessions. We did end up using glue, and some of our own tools like tweezers etc to easy assembly. The LED lights is a great touch, but the buyer will need to supply the USB cord and power - those are not included. ... show more

    • Absolutely Gorgeous!
This tram puzzle was difficult, but not frustrating. The instructions were clear and fairly easy to follow. I loved the colorful pieces and it did make it easier to cluster pieces together and find what I was looking for. I took my time and carefully followed each step and did not have to redo anything. The pieces popped out of the wooden sheets easily, but I did have a few tools with me to help tweeze or trim any extra wood. I recommend you take your time at the beginning and separate the pieces from the back. Then organize them so that you can easily find what you are looking for. After that, follow the step-by-step instructions and watch the magic happen! I worked on this puzzle for 20 - 30 minutes at a time for a few weeks and found it very relaxing. It was nice to focus on something outside of work in the evenings. I think it would also be fun to put this puzzle together with someone else so it could be a fun activity for you and your children or an elderly parent. I am fairly new to assembling 3D puzzles and I found this one quite challenging. It took me quite a bit more time I thought, but that is mainly due to how delicate the pieces are. The wooden pieces felt very fragile and some of the trees feel like they are made of paper. I did add some glue to keep things in place as I want to be able to move the tram around so I can turn on the lights or store it up high. There is a light option, but you need to supply your own USB cord and power bank. Putting together this puzzle had a huge payoff and that was such a special moment. I have it up on a shelf, but bring it down when my nieces and nephews come over and ask to play with it. This puzzle is a great gift idea for those who enjoy putting together traditional puzzles and are looking for a new challenge! ... show more
