I really thought that at this low price point this would be a mediocre product. But I was totally wrong. Although it does not have self emptying and a fee other features for which competitors chargrcundreds of dollars, this little machine does an outstanding job. The suction power is very good, the dust compartment is spacious, and the sound level when operating is surprisingly quiet. I find that I can actually watch television while this vacuum is cleaning my TV room. That was not possible with my old Roomba which this new machine has replaced. Easy to set up and get running with app. Haven't used remote much. Good suction power. I let it run and was amazed at the amount of dirt it picked up. Runs about an hour before redocking and recharging. Which is enough time because the small bin fills up by then. In the pic above, the robovac had already run a few times over the last few days and still managed to almost fill the bin again. People- you have no idea how much dust and dirt sits on your floors! Doesn't really map an area so as to remember. It just banks into obstacles and redirects. It does avoid stairs, it sometimes makes it up the bathroom sill, other times it gets stuck. It does make it up the low pile carpet and runs over it. The app tells you how much charge is left. It is supposed to find itself back to docking station when battery is low but sometimes doesn't make it. All in all, for the price I paid, (about $100), it is a very good item to start with. After two weeks or so , no complaints. Comes with two extra brush whiskers, and an extra HEPA filter. Took a moment to figure out how to put the bin back together after emptying. All in all- I like it. Update Dec 20- After a few weeks use I noticed the suction was not as good. I removed the HEPA filter and just used the carbon filter and its back to great suction. The HEPA filter is hard to wash and get dirt out of so if you find suction lacking, try to remove it. Works great again and picks up dust and particles you can't even see. Use it every day, it's always finding something. Still 4 stars. Great for the price. ... show more

For the price you pay, you’d expect to receive a cheap, plastic piece of junk that is hardly functional. I took a gamble a bought one and to my surprise, it is actually amazing. This is my first step into robotic vacuum cleaners. But this this is actually amazing and 100% worth every penny. I have a German Shepherd and she sheds a lot, but nobody wants to sweep 3 times a day to ensure their house isn't unintentionally carpeted by their pet. The A1 has great suction, picks up just about all small debris and isn’t loud at all. When it’s in the next room I only ever notice that it’s on when it bumps into the wall touching the room I’m in. I am very pleased with this product and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a robot vacuum that doesn’t cost hundreds of dollars to do the same job. It even has an app that connects to the device so you can schedule the vacuum to be fully automated at specific times. I originally thought I had purchased a Shark but instead selected this one. I was very concerned about this one and was worried it would not be good. However, I schedule it to run twice daily and it looks like it picks up alot, as the cup is always full. I have dogs and was concerned mostly about the dog hair. It does not pick up all the dog hair on the carpet, but I was surprised that it does a decent job. It's only gotten stuck a couple times and always goes back to it's dock. It does go through every room on the main floor. Since it wasn't the Shark that I thought I was going to return it, however, since it is actually doing a decent job I will keep it. I have been needing a robovac for a long time but unwilling to invest that much money in something that usually does not last long. I have 4000 sq ft to clean. I have 4 adults, 1 toddler, & 4 dogs, including a German Shepherd & a daughter with waist length hair. Even regular vacuums never live longer than a year. I love the A1. It has a higher suction power than most, no roller bar to get tangled with hair & fur, 2 filters, a decent sized reservoir & no expensive pads that need replacing. And I got it for just under $100. After less than 2 weeks of testing....I'm in love. I like the easy to use buttons on the machine or the simple remote to function. I didn't want something too complicated to understand. I am perfectly happy without room mapping, scheduling, voice control, etc. After I rearranged some things in my house, it rarely gets stuck & does a wonderful job! I wish the battery lasted longer & it recharged faster. I bought another one so I have one going at all times. I even bought a third one for my daughter's house. ... show more

I thought I'd come on here and write a review as I would recommend this to anyone looking for a robovac! It's affordable, works wonderfully, AND is really quiet. The remote can be finicky sometimes but I figure it's all about where you are relative to the vacuum itself? It's great with picking up hair, super easy to clean (I'm not jamming my fingers into a buncha gross dust lol), and surprisingly quiet! I use this every. day. just to run around the first floor and pick up pesky pet hair before I mop or sweep myself. and also I got an email saying there will be a mopping feature added soon soooo 👀 time to buy! saves me lots of time and highly recommend :) ... show more
