This is a great / heavy-duty 12V fan. We needed a fan that would turn off and on automatically when the ignition was on to circulate air conditioned air for our rear facing toddler. This fits the bill, but is quite strong, even on low. We're gonna have to return it for another option.

I’ve tried 3 other dash mount fans and this one moves more air than the others. It is also somewhat quieter than the other 3. My Instalation: 1) Make sure you lubricate the ball at the base that allows for positioning. I just used 3in1, but you can probably use any lubricant. After you lubricant the ball work it enough to insure you have smooth operation. 2) As you can see in the photos, I hardwired the fan tapping into the glove box power supply. In my opinion, this makes for a much neater installation. The only negative in hardwiring the fan is you lose the in-line fuse. However, the 15 amp fuse in you fuse box offers plenty of protection. ... show more

This fan can part the Red Sea like Moses. It blew my hair out of my face like I had my head out of the window and also dried out my contacts. Nice to have on hot days when your car ac is powerless against the heat.

I cut off the 12v plug and hardwired it in the camper kitchenette. Mounted upside down under a cabinet and it will blow to any sitting areas of my 12ft camper. Fits the retro style of the camper.
