  • Good Fan
I have two of these and they are great fans. I will agree that are a little loud, but I've had other fans and they are not any louder. Some have posted that they don't move much air, but I my experience has been different as I think they move a large amount of air for their small size. Anyway, they came quickly, the quality is fine - one of mine has hundreds of hours on it, and they work very well. They are an excellent fan at this price point. ... show more

  • Really blows.
Got this for our camper. Made a base out of wood so we could move it around. Long cord so works in different areas. Well made!

  • Works as advertised
Put this in the sleeper on our semi truck. Helps to keep the air moving.

  • Used in RV w/ 12vdc battery power tower
The only problem with this unit is the base has a little rubber pad that is loose and falls off. You need to screw mount this fan in place if you don't want to lose the little rubber pad and to keep this top-heavy, stainless steell, durable, fan from vibrating off/tipping over. The motor in this unit has 2 speeds, and both provide good circulation. Was surprised for a 12vdc fan the force of wind this fan creates, although it does have some db noise to it. Good construction other than that loose fitting rubber base pad. Highly recommend for the workmanship, material quality,. ... show more

  • Great add to the RV
Mounting was easy, very good quality. The switch was a bit small. But quite and nice.

  • Heavy Duty??
Yes this fan is indeed heavy duty but... (I'll get to the "but" part )I've only had it for a little over a month for the Arizona summer heat in my 2010 Corolla for my toddlers in the backseat. It was awesome when we first got it and it was strong. Well, I ended up turning it on, on the hottest day this year and it started making a loud noise. I shut it off and looked inside the fan and lo' and behold the screws that were holding the motor in place were loose and one was missing. Now, because my corolla is over a decade old the blower does not blow hard enough for air to circulate in the back seat. Its a terrible time for us in this heat and my hope was this fan would be able to last the entire summer but this is not the case. Yes it is a simple fix but I was hoping to not have to remedy a new product. ... show more

  • Noisey, noisey and noisey.
Might as well list what I don't like about this fan. Did I mention noise? Yeah, even on low it is an attention grabber. There are a few screws and bolts that were cast, but everything else is made from stamped metal, even a few nuts. But it does look good. The motor is not ventilated, so there is going to be a lifespan problem. The cord is cheap and they used the cheapest 12 volt plug in available. But it works. Now for the good stuff. You can get used to how noisey the fan is, but you will end up wondering how you could stand it when you flip the switch off. Part of the problem is that the fan blades or shaft is out of balance. The three position metal switch is nice to see. Right is low, center is off and left is high. I am using this in my 1987 Jayco J-2450 RV and the nice part was that I didn't have to splice any wires. I have a 12 Volt plug in connection for those old twelve volt televisions and it is more than capable of supplying power for the fan. So I ended up mounting the fan near that plug in. It works great for circulating the air during winter weather. The cord is so long that you could mount it on the dash in the cab of a truck and you could use one of the accessory plug ins in the sleeping berth. Durability? I don't think do when the fan and motor connect to the base with only a stamped compression fitting. Though if you don't move the fan often it will probably last longer. But I wouldn't hold my breath if you mount this on construction equipment or go over unimproved roads. All in all, I should have paid more money and bought American. ... show more

Hey, remember your time on the big yellow buses? And that fan that was behind the driver and on the windshield. And you're trying to stick the pencil into the fan without the bus driver noticing. Well it's that type of fan. Runs good
