  • Very impressive results
I have just installed this device, but from what I have seen so far, this device is amazing… the pedal response is lightning fast..

  • Totally different truck
If the truck drove like this off the lot Ford would have sold 10x as many. I inherited this 2011 F150 V8 from my father. It was garage kept, had only 20K on it. I drove it for another 20K and couldn't stand the lag it had when taking off. I have an F250 also and before I put in an SCT with custom tuning, I hated the turbo lag. That is what the F150 felt like. It was almost like you were waiting for a turbo that was not even there to spool up for it to take off. I read many reviews and didn't want a race truck, but I wanted that lag gone. It isn't even the same truck. When I push the pedal it GOES. There's no lag - it just takes off. I keep it in City +4 because I put it on the top setting, and it breaks my tires loose, and the tires are only a couple of months old. I can't touch the pedal light enough on that setting to prevent that, so to heck with it, I leave it in city mode. It's well worth the money if you want the truck to RESPOND when you push the pedal. ... show more

  • Happiness!
I now live in the mountains of WNC and was constantly annoyed by turbo lag or acceleration hesitation when driving mountain roads. I thought of and researched lots of things to remedy the situation as it was a small but bothersome annoyance. I have a 2015 F150 Platinum with 3.5L Twin turbo EcoBoost. I’ve owned many trucks over the years and this is the best by far. Never a performance issue until driving curvy mountain roads and having to be a bit more delicate on the accelerator, hence the lag. Took a chance after reading other’s reviews. One review in particular talked about the best setting for my style of driving, they were spot on, thank you! The pedal commander was a 5min install. I set it to what the other reviewer had suggested based on their experience and testing, and I experienced instant gratification. The lag is gone!. The response when you do want to get on it, puts a smile on your face. I like the idea of dialing in the accelerator to your style of driving. I set mine to city +2, perfect for me. If you are experiencing this so called lag when lightly pushing on the accelerator, this is the right product for you. If you like your truck to be the muscle car you always wanted, this product can satisfy that rush of acceleration too. I thought the cost was a bit much but now I can see it’s value for me over the long run. I intend to keep my truck for years to come. I fully recommend this product. Hope it works for you like it has for me. ... show more

  • How it should have been right out of the factory!!
HO.LY...CRAP!! I’ve been complaining about how my truck responds to acceleration input for YEARS!! Everyone just says, “It’s just the way it is, now.” I honestly don’t even know how I stumbled across this product, but I’m damn glad I did! First off, every website/company that offered this product, said it wasn’t made for my vehicle (2010 F-150 5.4v). All of them except the actual company, Pedal Commander. So, if you’re unsure, just go to their site and check your vehicle with what they say matches. Secondly, this was too easy to install. So damn easy, I nearly did it again, because I didn’t believe it was that simple (I don’t think it took 5 minuets). Oh, by the way, I rarely write a review. No matter how much I like a product, I just don’t write them. I’m writing this 2 hours after installation and “testing.” I didn’t test Eco Mode, but went through City, Sport, and Sport+ Modes. I already had a tune in my truck, because of my lift and 35” tires. It kinda helped in 1st & 2nd gears, but nothing for responsiveness to acceleration for passing, and what not. Several times before, I had nearly counted to 5 until it responded to my input. Now... it’s like a brand new truck!! This is how it should have been straight out of the factory! What was fun was switching through the modes while barely touching the throttle. The responses were IMEDIATE! I’ve got a pretty heavy foot no matter what I’m driving. I’m pretty sure my already bad gas mileage is going to get a little worse, because now it’s even more fun to drive. So, if you were looking for a negative, there ya go! ... show more

  • Improves acceleration
It definitely improves my 2018 5.0 Ltr Ford F150's ability to accelerate and pass vehicles. As for a saving on fuel consumption, it definitely lowers it by 1 to 2 gallons per mile. Do know that it is not for going to BTHO a sports car.

  • Don't go out the Gate on Sport
Amazing! Just don't start out on Sport. It's very sensitive! But once your foot gets used to the response, it is amazing!
