I didn't have to pay a delivery charge from a furniture store or take a pick up truck to pick it up. It was Amazon quick and easy and the price was not terrible. just a little higher than I would have hoped Pros - it appears fairly sturdy, have not noticed any noises or creaking. It gets the job done, looks like a box spring to the casual observer Cons - assembly with the tools they provide is time consuming and inconvenient (if you use your own tools you can probably cut the time in half, but still inconvenient); it is not really a box "spring" it is more of a platform; the bottom does not have a dust cover as a traditional box spring has (not really an issue but a preference) I needed a box spring in a hurry and this works. Would probably purchase one again if I needed one in a hurry but would probably stick with a traditional box spring, everything else being equal ... show more

The box spring worked great and exactly as advertised. It is very light weight and easy to get up the stairs (ideally before being assembled). It hold the mattress well and is the perfect size for a queen mattress.

Mind-blowingly easy to assemble! I put it together by myself in 20 minutes using the provided tools. Used a hammer and block of wood to seat the slats. Seems pretty sturdy. Good option for me, fair price, easy delivery, easy assembly.

    • Box spring great, getting it to fit a full size bed rail, NOT GREAT!

I absolutely love the box spring (easy to assemble, sturdy), but the BIG drawback is that it does NOT fit my bed rail. The box spring width is 54 inches and I cannot get my bed rail to 54 inches. When we made my bed rail wider it did not fit my headboard and the box spring would slide around on the bed rail. So I made the decision to place it lopsided on my bed rail (not worth my time to disassemble and return). I typically sleep to my left, so it has not been very noticeable when I sleep. By the way, the bed rail that is recommended (combo purchase for $199.76) when you purchase the box spring is 53.5 inches wide. Box spring is great for my Saatva mattress, getting it to fit a full size bed rail...NOT great. ... show more
