I purchased these to hold down a fenced in enclosure for my dogs. The fence isn't chain link, its more like a two and a half foot high garden fence as ,my dogs are very small. One of them however has figured out how to get out by going under the fence. I initially tried 3" plastic tent type stakes and they were too short and didn't hold, so I went with these and was completely satisfied. They appear to be of good quality, made from rebar type material. They are easy to drive into the ground and stay there once in place. Probably more of a stake than I need, but i would be confident that they would stay in place if my dogs were larger and pushing on them--they hold that well. I can only comment on them based on what I am using them for, but would have no issues using them to tie down anything else I needed to keep in place against wind etc. Good product! ... show more

I bought to stake down a 40 ft. dog leash. A 70 lb dog could pull up one stake that was hammered all the way in by tugging the leash from the perimeter of the circle. But two stakes at angles does the job nicely. The remaining stakes can be used in 1000 other applications so they were definitely worth the money. ... show more

Stakes are exactly what they say they are. Bought them to stake down a gazebo canopy. Had it weighted down with concrete blocks and it would move or twist a bit with every storm. These work very well increasing the stability of it. Have had several big storms this year and it has not moved an inch.

We have 3 little dogs that will try to get out of any small gap. We recently moved to a new house and needed something to secure the bottom of the fence so they couldn’t slip through.     • Hot dipped, Coated, Bright, Hammer Away!
These are SOLID which is important if you are trying to stake something down. Others sold are wimpy lightweight and will bend, these no way… I’m used to plain black rebar, thought these would save time vs. cutting and bending a bunch by hand. Almost decorative with the shiny dipped finish on these.
