I agree with many other reviewers: This does not seem like a $10.99 lamp. The bottom is weighted, the shade is elegant. I don't know how long it will hold up -- maybe that's the catch? -- but I've had mine for about two weeks and it's been great. The bulb is not what I'd call "warm," however. It's not one of those cool, almost blue LEDs, but it's not very warm, which I'd prefer. It seems to be more like "soft light" rather than "warm." I'm getting used to it, but might try to find a warm bulb. ... show more

This is convenient, great, lighting for my guest bedroom. Very easy to assemble, screwing the light bulb assembly onto the lamp base, then setting the shade on top. Pretty good lighting for bedside reading and if the cat knocks it over, it won’t break
