Overall I like the coat. It is warm and good for winter/late fall. I have worn a few times and been satisfied in the length. For reference I am 5'5 and this reached below my knees, mid calf. I could have gotten a medium because I almost feel like its too big, and I look like 2 children stacked on top of each other wearing an oversized trench coat. But I wanted to be able to wear it with a sweatshirt or layers under. Be warned though, the coat is heavy weight. Like feels like im wearing 5-7 pounds of coat. ... show more

One of my biggest worries, when ordering clothing online, is getting something that is only similar to it's description; especially when "try before you buy" is not available. But this is one of those rare occaisions where the product actually exceeded expectations in some areas (the fit and length) while being exactly as advertised in other areas (material, color, etc.) The coat arrived in perfect time to put it to the test due to a high wind advisary and light rain on a day that my daughter (who this was purchased for) had to go to work (and on an electric bike no less). Splashback from the tires were easily cleaned off of the coat, the fit kept her clothing clean and dry, and the style goes perfectly with any uniform or everyday clothing.
