  • It's a toy really
Size: Single Color: Hibiscus Red
I love the fact that this came with an instruction book, but the darn thing won't hold a tune. If you strum it twice it's out of tune. I guess that is ok if you don't actually want to play it and you want it as decor or a prop. but that was not it's intended purpose.

  • I was drunk!
Size: with Accessories Color: Hibiscus Red
Seemed decent enough for the price, but it was a surprise to my sober self from my drunk self. Sober self decided I didn't really NEED a ukelele, so I returned it. Not super helpful as a review, but maybe good for a laugh! Hahahaha!!!

  • Cheapest uke on Amazon challenge
Size: with Accessories Color: Hibiscus Red
Normally these ukes are $30, but these are so bad that I think Amazon is getting rid of them. For $8, this is the cheapest non-toy ukulele. The hardware on it is very cheap, but the body and neck feel pretty solid (untechnical definition). The tightness of the tuning pegs are all uneven (too tight, too loose), and it's not the screws, but the metal brackets. The pegs do hold the strings in place. The strings are very poor, but I wouldn't change them because the rest of the uke isn't up to par. It takes about a week for the strings to settle. They don't stay in perfect tune, but they're trying their best. A kid (non-musical, of course) wouldn't notice. The frets are spaced properly, but some aren't even fully set in the fretboard and pop up. The fret markers look like they were accidently placed. The worst part about this uke is the bridge and saddle. The saddle is cheap plastic, and not designed to be adjustable. The bridge is uneven so the saddle pop up on one side, making the first string sound worse than the other strings. And the main reason why this uke isn't playable is that bridge is not properly placed. All the strings can be in tune, but every note is a quarter step sharp. The strings are also 6mm above the 12th fret (twice as high as they should be). The paint on this uke is good, and the lacquer on the fretboard and bridge are okay. It looks pretty. I deepened the groove on the bridge, so the "saddle" would sit evenly. As a result, the ukulele still sounds bad, but it's consistent, therefore playable. Of course I can't leave out the bonus goodies. The bag is pretty good (not padded) for any soprano, the pitch pipe is fun to play with, and the chord guide goes in the trash. The bag itself is worth the $8. ... show more

  • Low quality, no surprise really
Size: Single Color: Blue Hawaii
When you $12 you expect it to be cheap. But why the rouge large gauge string? Or maybe it’s just in the wrong order. I don’t know either way there’s way to even pretend it sounds ok with it there. And it was damaged.. boo.

  • Very cheap; but a good kids toy
Size: Single Color: Blue Hawaii
Doesn’t stay in tune and sounds very dull. I bought this for myself but it was very cheap so I gave it to my sister. At least she loves it
