I have purchased this product for many years. Previously purchased at a large retail store, until the price went up. I was able to buy it on Amazon for close to the low original price. For new customers: the compact does not include a mirror or an applicator. Also it is made in the USA ..but some ingredients are not from there. If you read labels many cheaper cosmetics are mfr'd in China.....they cost way less ....but may be toxic or irritating to the skin. ... show more

I love this face powder. I had used Cover Girl's pressed powder for years until they changed the formula - they took out the talc so that it felt like I was putting a layer of clay on my face. After searching the major brands like Revlon and L'Oreal, I came across this brand in Walgreens and decided to try it. I loved it from the minute I smoothed it on. It's velvety soft and sheer, and it's perfect for my fair skin and for wearing alone. It also gives my skin a nice matte finish that keeps the oil away for several hours. The only reason I do not give it 5 stars is that it's a bit inconvenient not having this in a compact with its own mirror. If you carry this in your purse like I do, you need to be sure you have a mirror handy when you go to reapply. Of course, this is one of the reasons this powder is half the price of other brands. I like this powder. It's good. BUT I didn't realize that this is just the powder. It doesn't come in a compact with a mirror and a puff. So, still good powder, but I've had to keep my old empty compact in my makeup bag to have a mirror and a puff. I'll try another brand with a regular compact.

I like the Rimmel powder very much. When I received the first powder I thought it had been used because the powder itself, in the seller's photo, shows a logo of a Fleur-de-lis pressed into the top of the powder but the powder I received had no such symbol on the powder. After receiving a 2nd one without the symbol, I believe now that that picture either was Photo-shopped or is of old product that is no longer sold in that way. ... show more
