Took a chance buying a bed in a box. I spent a lot of time looking here and other places, reading reviews. The reality is that store brand mattresses just cost a fortune for anything remotely quality or comfortable, especialy king size. The mattress is heavy! Took two of us to get it in the house and unrolled. I let us expand for several days before sleeping on it. The corners took a little longer but we were using this bed within a couple of days. We have had it now for a couple of months and I feel like it's even more comfortable as it's broken in. It is more firm than I expected however we had prior been sleeping on a very worn well-known brand mattress that honestly was causing us so much back pain, hip pain and discomfort, I am relieved we gave this a try. We should have been sleeping on a more firm bed I have realized. My hips are no longer hurting. I have been waking up feeling rested for the first time in a long time! I love the memory foam plus individually wrapped coils. With two of us (and often two dogs) in the bed, the mattress is holding up well. We are both over 200# and have two large dogs. We might try adding a 1-2" foam topper but honestly the mattress is really comfy as is. The edges are not as firm as store bought mattresses and you will sink down a bit if sitting on the edge of the bed but it's not been a problem. We don't feel as if we will roll off. There is also really NO problematic movement in the bed if one person rolls over or shifts, it does not disturb the other person! I don't know how well this bed will hold up over time but it has a 10 year warranty. It seems very well made, it is comfortable and I imagine we will get at least a few years out of it. These mattresses are awesome. Better than needs twice the price and they blow those flimsy ones out of the water. They fit modern bed frames and are thick enough that fitted sheets stay tight. I have personally slept on it numerous times and I fall asleep fast and wake without any pain. Firm and supportive yet very comfortable. They come in a little box and setup in no time. i’ve now had this mattress for over a year and i love it. it was definitely a somewhat risky choice considering the cheap price but it is so comfortable. has just enough cushion to feel plush but has lots of support for those of us that wake up with sore backs. highly recommend this mattress if you DONT love the feel of the very firm memory foam mattresses that are all the rage right now. would definitely recommend to family and friends. only downside is the chemical smell when you first open it but that goes away after a few days. ... show more

I was worried about buying my first bed in a box. I moved out fairly recently and decided it was time for a new bed and did a lot of research. My budget was tight and I had specific features for this bed from my old bed. Perfect pillow top and easy setup. It was HEAVY, we got the king. We waited the whole 72 hours and some change. We’ve been sleeping on this mattress since mid-October 2023. It’s me and my husband and we’re average sized people, if that matters. When it arrived it was a huge box that was very tall and very heavy but the Amazon man brought it directly to my door so I was thankful for that. But we opened it according to the directions and waited 3 days, or 72 hours, before we slept on it. We wanted to give it the best chance to expand and inflate or whatever, and after all this time, it’s just ok. Biggest cons: the corners never fully fill or expand, if you sit on one accidentally it’s a fun experience because you just sink completely down; the spots where we sleep are molded into the sides of the mattress while the middle is like of elevated, so it’s sunk down area where we actually sleep then a little plateau in the middle. Those are my biggest complaints. Pros: it is comfortable. I like a medium-firm bed and it’s soft yet firm and it’s comfortable. It was inexpensive. It suits our needs for the time being. We put a mattress encasement on it along with a mattress cover and it’s comfortable. Good quality sheets and you can have a good sleeping experience. If you need an inexpensive mattress that can be shipped to your door, give this one a try. ... show more

nice bed for a kid. It's really very soft for an adult as when I sit on it or put my knee on it, I can feel like I'm almost sinking to the bottom of the springs. But when you lay down on it, it's really comfortable and it conforms to your body weight. Too soft for me (and I like plush beds) but for great for a lighter weight individual. My son loves it and that's what matters the most. It inflated very quickly and didn't even need to wait 72 hours since it was fully decompressed within a couple of hours and my 5 year old only weight like 40lbs so I didn't it would affect it much anyways. So far so good, hopefully it holds up as I'm planning on this being my son's bed until he's at least in high school. ... show more
