I purchased the five firearm model and it is not a terrible safe for the money. I am satisfied with it. It came well boxed, with good protection and was undamaged. Set up was very easy. Comes with keys, backup battery pack for the electronics, and wall anchors. The individual small box is independently locking. The anchors are decent quality, and when anchored to the wall in the holes, it stays very firmly in it. The locking pins are not visible or shimmable or priable so the door is pretty sturdy. The foam block in the back which sets your firearms off the back wall is of shallow depth and cannot accommodate a scoped firearm easily. The butt of the stock has to be kicked out all to the front edge of the safe to fit scoped rifles. Certain Scopes may not fit inside while attached to the rifle. Which is a drawback but can be rectified with a little bit of plywood and a router for other aftermarket foam blocks. That can be a potential no for certain buyers. It could also do with a little bit more foam in the bottom. There are two codes allowed for this model, an admin code which is setable, and a user code which is setable. The keypad is not backlit, which certain people may not care for, but I am okay with. Overall for keeping firearms locked up and out of the way, this suffices very well. With all the new regulations for storage I went ahead and bought these for security. One for hunting, one for fun and one for ammo. Company was a pleasure to deal with and they do a LOT with shipping protection and stand behind their product. There is a outer box a inner honeycombed box 1 inch thick and metal reinforced corners on the box. FedEx will still try to beat it up... lots of space, if you don't remove scopes then it will reduce some storage but it holds a lot. ... show more

First DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT OR FROM THIS SELLER IF YOU EXPECT QUICK RELIABLE ACCESS TO YOUR FIRE ARMS …. To start I Read the more positive review on this item. Price seemed fair for the quality. I wasn’t expecting the best. When I got the safe I set it up per instructions …I followed the set up to a T …it opened with the code I set… It opened with the override management code that was provided… It opened with the manual Key…everything seemed fine When I went to stock it the code no longer worked… the key which should alway work … did not … both my personal code(One I set with instruction) and the master code that they give you from the factory… Neither now worked… The green indicator light would come on letting me know it was the correct code but nothing would open… God for bid I would’ve had my firearms in the safe… Closed it thinking everything was OK… And then went to access them in an emergency… Like I said not even the key would open the safe… To make matters 100 times worse the customer service is terrible I am having to argue for shipping fees as they expect me to pay for the return shipping fees currently …unless I box the rather heavy (close to 100lbs) and awkward piece of equipment back into the three ply of corrugated cardboard box PUZZLE… Not an easy feat …after which they’re asking me to take before and after pictures of the item and then the successful packaging… Buy something for a little more money from a mom and pop shop… Stay away from this Seller And any other products their customer service is abhorred… And if something goes wrong they will make you jump through hoops or will leave you holding the bag completely ... show more

Came in a very protective triple layer box, although there was a clear cut on the box from the delivery guy, it never penetrated the other layers of cardboard and foam. Fits a bit, perhaps .5 inches larger than the actual dimensions. The safe is completely assembled, all you do is unboxing it and moving it to its permanent location. You have choice to install batteries on the inside of the door, or opt for an external compartment you can stick to the outside of the door. IT actually full size rifles with magazines on them, shotgun , even a soft case inside. The upper smaller locker is small, but can fit 2 to 3 pistols, ammunition, or valuables.
