Running this RAM at its rated 3600 MHz. I didn't have any issues with a 5800 X3D CPU. It's been several weeks now in the system has been reliable with this 1 RAM stick installed. The RGB looks good and if I built another low budget system I would certainly consider this again.

    • It worked and my computer didn’t explode!!

Literally just plugged it in and my computer went through setup for a minute to register the new RAM, but after that it booted back up with no problems! In fact, typing up this review with that same computer and everything is cool! I personally went through MSI Center to change the color waves of the RAM, and other than the computer making it completely separate from my other RAM it changed to whatever I wanted. Not gonna lie I was hoping I chose the right RAM for my computer, and was praying that I wasn’t going to bomb my computer or make it explode but it is still working! So I can’t stress this enough for others please make sure the RAM is compatible before installation. This RAM looks very good, was extremely simple to instal (literally plug and go), and feels very well made and sturdy. The only thing is that it is a bit pricey for getting only one and for it being a non brand name. ... show more

Looks great! Love the RGB effect. Otherwise it works as expected. Plug and play, set up for 3600MHz in bios, and no issues. The 3600MHz speed, while not the absolute fastest you can get, makes this a little more performant than cheaper 3200MHz, which can actually translate to a few more frames per second in certain games. This is a 16GB stick of DDR4 memory operating at a maximum frequency of 3600Mhz. It comes with a really nifty LED lighting system which is really neat for a clear case or vented case. I couldn't get it to boot up along side a 64GB stick of DDR4 running at 2933Mhz, but on its own it booted up and operated fine. 16GB of RAM is a lot of RAM for most situations and really reduces HDD reads and writes and keeps those IO's on the much faster RAM. This review is for, "fanxiang DDR4 RAM, 16GB (1x16GB) RGB RAM DDR4 3600MHz CL18 V1.35" Nice generic memory stick. I didn't try overclocking thanks to a limitation in the board I was using. But at 3600 MHz and CL18 it was perfectly stable running Memtest 86+ and furmark just because it stresses the entire system and raises temps. ... show more

They are selling this as memory for a gaming computer. I guess if it's an entry level gamer that may fit. The RAM is good, and I have been using this brand for a long time without any major issues. I have been using fanxiang products for several years and have come to trust the brand for reliability. When I saw this memory product I decided to get the 16GB memory stick for an open chassis test PC so that I can enjoy the RGB LED show while I work on the PC. The memory bar looks rugged. The all metal aluminum heat sink helps to dissipate the heat and I have been monitoring this for a couple days now. My motherboard is an older model and so it cycled down the memory speed to 2400 MHz, but it still works great. ... show more
