Broke at one of the break-down points. VERY flimsy design, broke with gentle use first time out. I duct-taped the broken junction so I can use the grabber, but of course cannot fold it up any more.

    • Durable, easy and 48 inch is back saver.
I dont know why this has bad reviews. I just ordered 2nd one. I have bad back injury and disc issue. This saves my back so much. I can pick up bath towel and queen size sheet without issue. I can even pick up heavy winter coat. If I bend over I may end up on ground so this saves me! It picks up heavier stuff then I give credit for. You can't pick up a Brick of course but most household items on floor. My only concern is 48inch doesnt come in different colors. I want one for shed to pick up the yard from trash etc and one for in house. Ill have ro put tape on shed one so i dont accidentally bring it inside. It also helps pick up my pups ball repeatedly and throw it without bending over at all! The 48 inch means zero bending! You won't be sorry if you order this. :) ... show more

Bought item to reach holiday lights for removal. We have a ranch so it was very handy to use to lift lights off the hook. Saved us from getting the step ladder out.

    • This is not as useful as I was hoping as the length makes it harder to use in the shorter ones
This is my second grabber bar and I was hoping that it would be more useful than the first one because of the extra length. After using it for several weeks I find I hardly use it at all because the length makes it very difficult to maneuver and throws the balance way off for me. It's great that it has magnets on it and folds down to a reasonably small size but I simply find I don't use it nearly as much as the 3-footer. You may like it more than I but for me the kind of sits in the car most of the time ... show more

The Cable Inside is very poorly made. It's light & not heavy duty. On my 2nd use it snapped, although the arm didn't. Very odd. Will not buy this again.

I like the length of the folding grabber tool. I have been looking for a long grabber tool for two years. The joints look substantial. I live in a rural area and ride my tractor along the edge of the road to pick up trash. Actually, I would like one a little longer, maybe five or 6 feet long. It is sometimes a ways from the tractor seat to the trash in the ditch. Because I have mobility issues, I prefer to do it sitting down. ... show more
