I like that this picker upper device comes folded but I did hang it up in a closet. I used it immediately to pick up a beaded necklace that had fallen behind my washing machine. It worked beautifully. Good quality product and easy to use. As I get older, it will be essential.

This is strong enough to grab small to medium sized glasses, cups, bottles, jars, cans, off the shelf or put them up there. It can also pick up a coin off the floor and even has a little magnet to grab paperclips and such. Since it folds up, I keep one in my car as I can't reach very far and this helps when I need to. I've been using this product for 3 years now, but I have had to buy a replacement for it (same product). I really like that it has the rubbery grippies at the ends so that it doesn't just drop items like a claw machine, but I use this thing every single day and pick up numerous items off the ground in varying sizes, shapes, and materials. The rubber ends fell off after about 2 years of heavy use. I probably could have tried fixing them but I'm not handy at all. I bought another one of the same product and it's holding up well. It has a comfy grip and I like that both sides of the claw move - it allows you to pick up bigger items. My mom was given a different product from the hospital that she had hip surgery at, that had one flat claw that stayed put and one claw that moved, it's only good for picking up really small items. I bought her one of these instead lol. It's nicer and I wouldn't be able to live my day to day without it! ... show more

Purchased April 29th, 2023 and it broke Sep 22, 2024, so for a cheap grabber it lasted a decent amount of time. I use is twice daily to pick up multiple dog food bowls from the floor, so this lifespan is with very regular use. However, through it's entire 16 month life I was constantly annoyed with the flimsiness of the "claws" on the grabber part. The rubberized coating did grip well but the claws themselves were so flimsy that they would twist and drop whatever I was trying to grab, constantly. As in, the plastic part of each claw would actually twist individually on their hinges, not the entire head with both claws twisting together. It took a long time to get the knock for picking them up; for several weeks I felt like I was trying to pick up the bowls with two wet noodles. Sometimes the claws would twist so much it would actually rotate the head 90 degrees and lock into the alternate claw orientation (the head rotates and locks in either a "horizontal" or "vertical" orientation). Even my heaviest dog bowl is only 0.75 pounds so I was using it for things WELL within the advertised weight capacity. The trigger was comfortable and easy to use although that was the part that eventually broke. So now I have to order a new grabber and I am no re-ordering this one. I will continue my quest for a better grabber with some other brand. ... show more

I just had surgery in my abdomen and the doctor said no bending lifting for like two months! I’m like bro I live alone 😩 Although family comes to check on me still I drop stuff all the time even when I’m not injured I saw this ordered it and boom when I tell you it picks up the smallest of pieces of paper to my cell phone !
