      • Incredible what these kites can do.

    Delivery went well with no damage. There is a definite learning curve but lots of videos on you-tube to help. I have some habits from flying a two line sports kite that I need to overcome to get better with the Quad. I live in a valley of northern Utah surrounded by high mountains. Almost the only wind I get is an early morning canyon wind that is quite strong and gusty, tapering off to zero about an hour after the sun peeks over the mountain. It is a bit difficult to control the maneuvers in a steady, slow way like the CA videos show except for a very short time between the gale force and the butterfly's kiss winds. After speaking to the people at Revolution I ordered a Reflex XX Tarantula that is vented which they say, and I hope will be able to do better with the kind of wind I have here. The EXP is an entry level kite. I would suggest watching a few of the Joe Hadzicki you-tube videos to learn about the different models and which is right for you and your area before buying. I love learning to master these controls and seeing the kite respond the way it was designed to perform. I am looking forward to many hours, and hopefully years, of flying and mastering the many maneuvers these kites are capable of. ... show more

    It's not real Revolution Kites, just looks like that. If not pay enough money, no cheap Revolution Kites could be got. Any way, it flys much better than normal 4 string kites.

      • A tough fly

    I've been flying dual line kites for the better part of 30 year.s I am not a pro, but have a pretty good grasp on flying. All of my knowledge, went out the window with this quad line. I watched the YouTube videos and even talked to the inventer on Facebook and got tips from him. Tried flying it in a field here in town, and couldn't keep it in the air. The wind was mehh, but should have been enough. I was afraid of it grenading on one of the crashes, so I hung it up. Went to the coast, had some amazing wind. Perfect. Smooth, steady, and fairly good speed. Figured I was going to rock it.... Nope. I did do better, but I still wasn't being as consistent with it as I should be. I was getting upset that I was wasting the good wind, mucking around and crashing the quad line.... I'd really like to love this. I was looking for a challenge, but not sure if it's the kite or me that's causing the issues. Maybe if you have someone to help teach you how to fly it, this may be for you. But it's awfully difficult if you don't have someone showing you what you're doing wrong. ... show more

    The media could not be loaded. Definitely an expert level kite, I recommend mastering a fast dual line first before jumping into the quad line game. I figured this lite out in maybe 1-2 hours of flying and by day 3 at the beach was flying expert level!! So much fun!!

    Oh the time I wasted with a two line stunt kite … this four line is a game changer ! Used it today for the first time … takes a bit of getting used to but revolution kite’s tutorials help a lot … the kite is amazingly responsive and already I can do things that are impossible to do with a dual line kite. Looking forward to really mastering this . Can’t recommend it highly enough. ... show more
