I’m used to buying kites from Target or 5 and Below for our beach trip and they never quite hold up or fly very well. But this one was great. My 11 year old was able to fly this kite high so the ease of use is good. And the colors are beautiful and great quality. Very happy with my purchase.

The media could not be loaded. Ok, so I'm a bit of a kite "kid" as an adult. I love flying kites as well as watching them- it's very therapeutic. I have several types of kites, but wanted to add this beauty to my rotation. Firstly, let's start with quality. The nylon material is more of a light weight, but it did really well at the beach. The tails are long, colorful, and good quality. The supports and keel held up well in the high wind conditions. The string and plastic "reel" are more of a "fly it in the neighborhood" quality. The string is thin, so before my beach flight, I purchased an inexpensive fishing rod/reel combo that included fishing line. I would never take the included line/string to a heavier wind location, or you will end up losing your kite. The one main flaw I found is the kite is unbalanced. The nose definitely wanted to repeatedly dive down. So if a tiny fishing weight were added to the tail, I believe it will balance out the diving issue. This reason, as well as the lightweight string, are the reasons for a review star reduction. In summary, this is not only a beautiful kite with a good flying shape, but it's beach worthy. I also think it would make a great bedroom decoration, or party decoration as well. At the time of this review, 3/8/2024, this kite is 15 doll hairs, which I believe is a little high based on the fact that to fly this in real wind, you'll need to purchase stronger line. *Please view pictures and any video as I consider them part of my full review. ... show more

What a beautiful kite. What a Beauty it will be in the springtime sky. We’ll be waiting a bit for the nice weather. This would make a nice gift. It’s a fun addition to a kite collection. Makes a nice gift.

Butterflies remind me of summer so when I saw this kite I had to have it. The days are warming up and I wanted to do something outside. This kite was exactly what I needed. The kite had beautiful bright colors that I was able to see when it was soaring through the air. It was made with strong durable material and it was easy to put together. It came with string that was attached to the handle and was very easy to fly. I spent the afternoon enjoying this kite and it held up very well. As an added bonus this kite came with a bag to store it in for the next time I want to go fly the kite. ... show more

Daughter loved it. It flew well and looked great doing it. Unfortunately the string cut someone's finger ( as it has to really everyone that's ever flown a kite the first time ), but I digress. It also looks great hanging up on the wall in her room now. So not a total lose, and I bet she forgets and will be willing to give it another try before summer. ... show more

This is a really pretty kite that looks great flying and was pretty easy to put together. My daughter has loved flying it and it is pretty easy to handle. My only issue is that it is slightly smaller than the dimensions led us to believe, as we have another kite with the same dimensions that is larger but it isn't a big deal. ... show more
