I like the color & it doesn’t clump. The large bristle applicator separates the lashes well, but it bumps my brow bone when applying which leaves little black dots I have to dab off. I substituted a smaller wand & that issue disappeared. I don’t get raccoon eyes but occasionally I’ll get a small smudge. Seems to be waterproof but that hasn’t really been tested yet. When say, it’s the best mascara I ever bought. But I needed a replacement and I wanted something affordable. I just I typically choose Sephora products, but I do feel this does a pretty good job. If you’re looking for a good alternative, it is black and it’s smudge proof which is nice

If you like very lightweight looks on your lashes, this might be perfect for you. Otherwise, you're going to have to work it and work it. And work it some more. Eventually, you can build up elegant length and definition. What you won't get, unless you go beyond beyond, is much volume. So, if clumpiness scares you, fear not. You can definitely avoid clumps. This is my first mascara so I don't have anything to compare it to but it is truly amazing. This mascara is so easy to apply and makes a true difference when looking for boldness. I feel so much more confident when people look at me and I feel much more independent. It doesn't clump when adding multiple layers however the mascara tips are very tiny and spread out which can make it harder to apply at times. I thought this would be perfect since after wearing mascara makes me look like a panda bear after a couple of hours. I thought they water proof would solve that issue but I still have the same issue in about the same time frame unfortunately. It does look great when applied tho.
