These are by far my favorite pet hair removal tools. I have 3 of this exact brand floating around my house. Without replacing any sticky sheets, this tool quickly picks up hair and self-cleans by rolling the hair into a little compartment that can easily be emptied. My only qualm is that I sometimes pop open the compartment on accident because of how I'm holding it. Apparently I "choke" the handle a bit... But that's a me problem. So difficult and frustrating to use. When using, it would not slide smoothly on the surface and almost got stuck making it impossible to use. A lint roller is more efficient.

I have an Aussie so there is constantly fur, everywhere. I lint roll furniture and bedding every other day, and that can get expensive so I wanted to try something new. NOT worth it. This works great! A while ago I ordered a different brand of this type of tool that worked very well. I have been wanting to order more so that I could have one for the house and one for each vehicle. The last two other brands that I ordered did not work, so I was so happy to find a brand that does work! PHOTOS: I had added a photo of a dog bed that is partially cleaned (I used the handle of the Pilipet hair removal tool to mark the line of where I stopped). I also added a photo of how much hair I got up from the bed with this tool. I had cleaned it about a week ago, but our dog sheds a lot. This pile of hair was after cleaning out the tool three times. COMPARED TO THE VACUUM: This gets much more hair. The vacuum hardly gets any hair off of the dog bed or the dog car seat cover, but this tool works fantastic, and does it in a short amount of time. It works best on a flat or semi-flat surface, such as a dog bed, car sear cover, or couch. HOW TO USE: Run this over the area back and forth to pick up hair. You will hear it make a clicking noise as you do this. I hold the fabric tight as I clean it. Click on the release button in the handle to open the back and clean out frequently. They note to not immerse in water, but to wipe with a damp cloth. OVERALL IMPRESSION: I am very happy with this and recommend this brand. It works well and is a good value. The media could not be loaded. D We have a cat whose hair, evidence shows, sticks to everything but her. If we don’t sweep floors and brush furniture at least once every day, great drifts of cat hair sweep like tortoiseshell-colored dunes across the floors and couches and chairs until everything blends into a seamless landscape of brown and grey and gold. My family spends way too much money on pet hair removers of the sticky kind, which, as you know, don’t last very long, so when I saw this item on Amazon, I hoped it might be something that could save me some dollars. For the most part, it will. The functional part of this pet hair remover is covered with a type of fabric you’re sprobably already familiar with, as it’s been used on pet hair remover tools for many years. It is very good at grabbing and holding on to pet hair. What is different about this tool is the design, whereby the hair is swept off of the fabric and deposited into a compartment. There it remains until you open that compartment and shake or sweep out the fur into the trash. The way you move this tool is not exactly intuitive. What your hand wants to do is push this tool across couch cushions in long, back and forth motions. The tool will not let you do this. The fabric-covered wheel will not turn that way. It must be moved in short, back and forth actions. Once you get accustomed to that, this seems to be a quick, easy and effective means for removing fur from flat surfaces like couches and chairs. It is somewhat less effective at removing fur from items that are not flat, such as my dress pants when I am going out the front door in them. This tool does not excel at clearing off the drapes and folds of clothing. In situations like that, I am afraid I will still need to resort to sticky tape. But I expect my purchase of sticky tape to be greatly reduced by this new tool. ... show more

USABILITY. I have many cats and many places around the house where they sleep. From baskets to cat gyms, window cushions to bed spreads, cat fur is something I'm cleaning up on a weekly basis. I know Vine Voice reviewers seem to just love everything they review but I honestly do love this thing. I've used traditional lint brushes, disposable tape roll style brushes, and vacuum cleaner pet attachments, and this item removed more fur per pass with less effort than all of them. I've included a before & after photo to show what all of 5 seconds of use accomplished. SPEED. So not only does this excel at removing fur it does it faster than anything else I've used. At one of my windows there is a 10' by 2' cushioned area where every cat loves to sleep and so naturally it is covered in fur pretty much all the time. What would take a good 3-5 minutes to clean with other methods took about 15 second with this item. VALUE. If you're spending money on disposable rollers then consider putting that money into one of these instead. I got mine for free and now I'm buying one one for family so, ya, I think the value is definitely there. ... show more
