My 3 year old was so excited to play this while on our road trip.. however, the controller to have it be a 2 player game does not work. Also, the games repeat, so there are not 500 different games to choose from. Overall it's not bad for the price, but disappointing that the controller does not work- only the handheld console itself. Its a cool small gadget, has a lot of games, retro games would bring you back to your childhood. Was expecting super mario games but nothing at all. thought Excite bike was also there but the games practically is less than 500. Most of it have same title after 300. The contra has like 8 or 10 options. What fun is, you can play it with two players, via usb, and connect to your tv via rca connector. Battery last for awhile, did not time how long. But after 3 hours of playtime, game console still working. Its a bit flimsy, so be careful when you play, it can easily be broken, not as durable like a nintendo switch console. I ordered this game console for fun because I grew up with the 80s video games and wanted to show my daughter what games I played compared to the games she plays now. The game console is okay, but I have never heard of a majority of the games and there seems to be at least two copies of each game so there are not 500 different games like the listing suggests. I have included pictures for examples of this. The games I did recognize and play like Joust and Pac-Man work well and are fun. I appreciate that the console is rechargeable and doesn't burn up regular batteries. The console itself is quite lightweight and feels somewhat cheap, but the controls work well and it fits well in my hand. It would be very helpful if there was a list of the included games in the listing so customers can determine whether or not they are games they recognize or not. I do think it is priced a little high for what you get. ... show more

I got this for my son & daughter-in-law to play with. What drew me to the item was the nostalgic retro look/feel with 500 games available to play in English or in Chinese. Although it is a cool looking, retro feel handheld game there are not 500 games with this unless you count the duplicates as an individual game. Even so it's still a great value for around $30 but be careful, it does take some getting used to. This game system is very nice with a 3.5-inch LCD screen and a larger handheld controller. This system has a few extra features compared other handheld systems. It comes with an analog controller, the various buttons themselves take some getting used to & can be a bit confusing. It also comes with a cable for connecting it to a TV which I did not do and a second controller. If the second controller supported 2-player games, this would be a big plus. I don't know if it does, but I will report back. All in all, I'm still recommending this because it's a great value for your money & it is nostalgic. ... show more
