This is a really lightweight plastic console with similar wired controllers, so be careful as it feels a bit fragile and easy to move if you swing the controllers around too much. Setup was easy - uses RCA jacks for connecting to your TV so make sure you have RCA (yellow video, red white stereo audio) inputs on your TV or get an RCA to HDMI adapter (there are plenty on Amazon). For the price, you really can't expect too much. Plenty of reviews since this system been out for more than a few years. However, here's what I will say 1 - Convenient - Very easy to just turn on and play. If you're running a retro gaming setup through your PC that can be a hassle for guests or anyone that just wants to hit a switch and game. This meets that criteria pretty easily. Just hit the on button, switch to right source on your TV and you're gaming. 2 - construction - kinda flimsy. like others have already mentioned the controllers feel cheap, they flex and require more force than you would think when pressing the buttons 3 - 300 games - all the games have been edited to avoid issues with the original publisher but very classic old school 8 bit games from several console manufacturers. 4 - aux cables - major thumbs down here. unless you buy an adapter this system really should have come with HDMI out of the box. who even has a TV with aux inputs anymore? If you have a guest room, this is perfect for setting up on an old school tv and letting the fun ensue. ... show more
