  • Great for high traffic areas
Size: 27" x 25'
My carpets are old, but since I continue to rescue dogs, I bought this runner for the hallway immediately after my carpets clean. Works great and it will keep the carpets clean. I am online to order another for doorway entries. It cuts nicely.

  • Stays in place well, easy to clean, protects stair steps from cats and people.
Size: 27" x 25'
I originally bought the high pile carpet plastic floor runner. That was a mistake. It way to thick to lay on carpeted stairs so I just used it on flat surfaces like the hallway. I bought this low pile plastic floor runner instead. I bought 3 rolls and cut them up to fit the stairs. They fit so much better and don’t slide while your walking on them. They do move around after repeated stepping on the stairs throughout the day. I don’t feel them moving while I’m walking up or down stairs though. When they do start to move out of place, I just use my hands to put them back into place and they stay there about a day or two. I have found If you wear socks they won’t move as much. If you have wet or sticky feet it will cause them to move more. My cats were using the stairs as a cat scratcher. We just had new carpet installed and we were trying to figure out what we could use that would stay in place and would be easy to clean. I bought a sticky like carpet protector and the cats just moved it out of the way. With this plastic they can’t move it and it actually covers the entire stair step since I cut the pieces to the correct lengths. No one damage carpet and easier t clean stairs! Perfect. ... show more

  • Sorry pets...gotta lay somewhere else!
Size: 27" x 25'
Purchased this for one reason...to keep my large dog from making herself comfortable on my bed, sofas, love seats and chairs! I bought the 25’ roll. I was able to cover my king bed, 2 sofas, 2 loveseats and 2 chairs. I turned it upside down so the plastic spikes fave up. It only took one attempt and she won’t even look at the furniture for a nap! The material is very easy to cut to size with a pair of scissors. It is also very light to take off the furniture and slip it underneath. I love my dog but her doggie bed and carpet are for her...the furniture for us. ... show more

  • be aware of one issue
Size: 27" x 25'
good product for what it is intended for, to protect carpet. Mine is to cover an area rug and for the parts I walk on, it stays put but of course it is held steady by furniture. I am not rolling a chair on it, but I highly doubt that would work due to thinness and flexibility. If you want carpet protection from pets (as I did, cat) then this will work well but if you expect the beauty of your carpet to show through, forget it. Bubbles and vinyl are accentuated with light. See attached pics. ... show more

  • Did not stay in place unable to use
Size: 27" x 25'
I used these for an Estate Sale to cover and protect newly installed carpet. It was horrible trying to get it to stay in place and it kept rolling down the steps and became a liability issue so I couldn’t use them. On the other carpet which was flat they moved with walking on them and did not stay in place. By the time I was done with moving and the Estate Sale it was too late to return them. Very expensive for just going to a recycle bin! This was a HUGE disappointment and waste of money. Also, the carpets looked like they were 20 years old by the time the sale was done.(And I had to pay $400 to clean the carpet on the stairs and on the rest of the carpet in the house!) i hope this helps you to save your money ... show more

  • Hasn't worked well at all
Size: 27" x 25'
When I first got this carpet protector, I was impressed by how easy it was to trim down to size. Everything after that has been less than desirable. I have used this on a medium pile length carpet. It CONSTANTLY moves around. I adjust it every other day. It ripples under foot and bunches up. I've nearly tripped over it on multiple occasions because the ripple crest goes right under my foot as I walk. PLUS part of it is near a cool entryway. Not freezing, but probably 50 degrees near the floor. Due to the cold, it has contracted itself into the massive ripple seen in my second picture near the boot mat. I had a 10lb subwoofer sitting o the other end of it, and it didn't stop the material from pulling right back against the wall. As the weather got cooler, it just got worse... The material also has never really relaxed flat after rolling it out. I honestly cannot suggest this product to anyone. I'm not sure how it worked so well for other people in these reviews... ... show more

  • Perfect as a Runner for Carpeted Stairs
Size: 27" x 25'
These are perfect for my carpeted stairs coming up from the garage. As you can imagine all manner of dirt, oil and grease can be found on garage floors and this runner protects the carpets. Seems like there are a fair number of complaints about the plastic being too thin or moving when walked on. Because these are on stairs, they are tacked down on each step so no movement and no curling up. Honestly, every complaint I read seemed like unrealistic expectations. Tape it down if you're just going to roll it out and with minimal effort (see below) no smell issues. Smell: It's plastic, it's going to smell but it's not that bad right out of the box. Unrolled it in the back yard overnight and noticed still just a bit of smell but most was gone. Spray bottle 50/50 white vinegar/water for 20 minutes then hose down and leave to dry overnight. Don't leave vinegar on or it could yellow. Smell completely gone. ... show more

  • Makes a decent stair runner
Size: 27" x 25'
Not easy to put on a stair by yourself but i did it. The underside plastic nibs that are teeth make it impossible to pull the rug to adjust, you really have to carefully lay one tread at a time and walk it up as you go. My cat was starting to do his scratch thing on this carpet and i wanted to discourage that and save the rug. Fortunately i don't go up into this guest room very often, which is the only room up the stairs. I'm not a plastic-on-the-sofa kind of person but this necessitated it, plus it's out of sight. Has a mild new plastic-y smell to it but again, it's out of sight so i don't mind it. The bottom 3 steps angle out so i only have this on one of those steps. I'll take the excess up at the top and cut it to fit each angled step at the base if and when i need to do that, haven't done that yet. ... show more
